Crystal disk info is generally a hard disk diagnostic tool. You can get information on failing sectors and such. It was primarily designed for hard disk rather than ssd. For SSD you would be better off with their own brand diagnostic tool. Most would have firmware upgrade options that crystal disk info does not provide. You can view summarised SSD health data that is more easily to understand with manufacturers own software.
For old desktop pc it is recommended that you change the SATA cable along with the SSD to get max reliability.
