Hi all Stfu,
I am planning to build an RM2k budget pc. Mainly will be use on editing software such as davinci resolve, adobe AE, adobe Premiere, and other photoshop. would like to have some recommendation on parts and component within the budgets. and why.
Which monitor to pair on ( IPS or VA , 60mhz or 120mhz, ) ?? budget around RM200-RM250 ( DP or hdmi port, which one is better) ??
Mechanical keyboard less than RM100( rgb or not doesn't matter, in fact does rgb really worth it ?? , it's cost hella expensive)
Mouse around less than RM100
headphone ( does surround sound gonna help with my editing ? ) less than RM100
Thanks in advance.

You're not gonna get any IPS monitor at RM250. Even a good VA monitor would cost more than that

2K for all that? That's pretty much impossible unless you are willing to scout for used parts or even play around with older platforms such as Xeons icon_idea.gif

Also a color accurate monitor will easily cost several times over your entire budget for the whole build icon_idea.gif

Personally at this budget - you should really need to double up your budget for something decent, or you'll have to work with old Intel/Zen 1 platforms. Here's a build (from Aliexpress):

Ryzen 5 1600 - RM370 ( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33044986745...rchweb201603_55 )

ASRock B450M Steel Legend - RM329

KLEVV Bolt X 8GB - RM195

Sapphire RX570 - RM499

FSP Hydro K 500W - RM199

ADATA SX8200 Pro 256GB - RM189

Tecware Nexus M - RM129

Total: RM1910

You may want to add a HDD for video editing as well icon_idea.gif

Prices from DotaTech at Lazada icon_idea.gif

The 4c/4t chip doesn't look very hopeful on such activity though sweat.gif

Also most budget IPS monitors perform no better than a TN one sweat.gif

Might as just well grab a budget Xeon build off Aliexpress sweat.gif

I did made a Xeon build in my post... the only issues according to PhilsComputerLab on Youtube, the board onboard NVME slot has half the bandwidth of a standard NVME slot and thus the SSD will operate at half the speed sweat.gif

I think he also mentioned the board also does not do sleep (suspend) correctly sweat.gif

Not to mention there's very few USB 3.0 ports on it as well sweat.gif

On the plus side however the build has 8 cores and 16 threads tongue.gif

Opps, i made a mistake. Let me rephrase.
The RM2000 budget, is just for the pc build .
As for the monitor, mechanical keyboard, mouse and headphone are not included in that RM2000 budget. then RM 2000 is solely for the pc build budget.
For monitor, what's the cheapest and money worth for a 22 or 24 or 27 inches IPS 60/120 mhz ?
Monitor and gpu, dp port or hdmi port is better? and why??
For mechanical keyboard, preferable brown switch, cheapest and money worth is ?
Mouse < RM100
Thanks.
ps for the inconvenient of the confusing content.

Again budget still too low for anything proper for a system unit sweat.gif

I did recommended an AMD one with an older Ryzen 5 1600 - but you can always upgrade if you need to tongue.gif

For the monitor, how about the Acer VG270P for RM899? It's 27 inch IPS at 1080p, and comes with a 144Hz refresh rate. IMHO for your use case and budget I won't recommend a 144Hz panel actually icon_idea.gif

Displayport is better than HDMI - usually it has the ability to do FreeSync and DP is specifically designed for PCs and high refresh rates icon_idea.gif

About the keyboard - it's hard to say as I'm not a mechanical keyboard user. Same goes to the mouse sweat.gif
