Okay, will try it but what is GParted? Is it free or included in the Ubuntu Live CD. I heard of it but can't remember whether I used it before. Someone please help me. Thanks in advance.

sure it's free. GParted is open-source and like partition magic (in window). http://gparted.sourceforge.net/screenshots.php And i not sure how GParted can solve your problem. blink.gif

What's your problem actually? Sorry cos' i read your post and find it confusing blush.gif Although i'm don't own a mac machine, but i using hackintosh tongue.gif As long as your mac osx got problem, you should use diskutility to fix and repair. Or you can use your mac osx dvd and boot it up. Then open diskutility to fix and repair permission. Or sometimes it's alot better to use terminal wink.gif

Not sure how to use Terminal la. I am in school la. Just read my first post again and you should understand it. I got into Disk Utility but I can't click reformat button because it is a Startup Disk which can't be partitioned.
