For almost all replica rim you don’t know who is the factory, and without knowing the factory you wouldn’t know the quality. And the factory won’t care about quality too since you can’t trace it back to them if the rims fail, and you don’t know whether the rims were tested properly.

A manufacturer like Enkei, you know for sure it is tested for QC, because the factory is known and they can and will be held accountable.

Are there good replica rims? Don’t know. Because don’t know if they were certified, or tested. Just because your friend use and there’s no problem, doesn’t mean it’s good. Who knows maybe tested it will fail.

Fake rim are lookalike, quality so much different, of course look at the sign 'made in Italy', quality of the center cap, rim weight, warranty card, but still not 100% sure, that's why must buy from reputable shop, not individual seller.
Lock nut is good to have, this can prolong the stolen time, say additional 15 second per wheel. smile.gif

Good luck with that additional 15 seconds on my wheels. Going to a proper tyre shop with tools and a welder would take 30 minutes per wheel.

Don’t buy real rims and fake shitty lock nuts
