Keep the receipt up to 7 years.

best way is to scan/photosnap the receipts to keep it as physical receipt may fade in 1 year time

Receipts on 2018 is used to do filling the next year (in this case 2019)

In other words, u are filling/claiming for previous year

hmmm, maybe use my case for an Example, I have bought Laptop and Smartphone at May 2019, later during 2020 (around march) when filling the Tax, can I just use the Smartphone as the Tax Relief, then later during 2021 (another round of Tax Filling), I use the Laptop as tax relief?

or the Laptop and Smartphone only valid to be use as Tax Relief during the 2020 tax filling date?

Never submit originals to them. They might lose it. Keep the originals for yourself and only photocopy for them if they need it.

If they want to ask for evidence during audit, photostat/print for them. Make sure there is some kind of proof of acknowledgement like stamped received or couriered via Pos Laju (signature received) just to be safe.

Like others said, keep a scanned copy as ink will fade over time. It is your duty to keep these supporting documents if you want to claim deductions/tax relief.

Does Audit actively occurred? or it is a rare case? How they contact us for the audit? through email? phone call?
