we were hoping to get poch after we sacked JM 1 year ago. Now, spurs get JM after sacking poch. What a funny twist.

arsenal is going for poch soon. We will miss out another good manager again after Pep and Klopp. by the time OGS get sacked, we will have no more good manager around to pick.

The thing about ole is...I'm not sure if he is the top quality manager that we need. Yes, I agree the team quality is bad but for long term purpose it's better to have a manager with good tactical plan and exciting style of play for rebuilding. For example liverpool stick with klopp in the initial stage and now it bear fruits. For ole, I think the best he can be is just like Moyes with Everton and fighting for top 4 after few years of rebuilding. Definitely not enough for a club like Man Utd. I hope I'm wrong tho.

QUOTE(aaron1717 @ Dec 3 2019, 03:04 PM) the first two seasons of klopp also no one sure that he is the one... lol... although he was in the europa and fa final for first two seasons but he won nothing those 2 years... and his tactical plan also looks the same most of the time... stick to 4-3-3 and never change much... just try to put the correct player in those positions and voila... here are they now... in dortmund, he is just like another poch, except that he won the german league champion before... most of the finals he also always the losing finalist... there is nothing we can see if we being impatience... like jomo and lvg... who knows what we could be if we stick with them longer... But we can see that he can build an exciting team when he was in Dortmund although he never win anything. Same as Poch. These types of managers will eventually succeed if given time and support. For Ole, he doesn't have good track record except the disastrous stint with Cardiff. His style is predictable, lack of plan B and tactically inept. The dilemma now is Poch is available for grab. And we might miss a great opportunity if other teams snatch him first.

i hope this team can maintain consistency and build on a winning streak. Only then top 4 have hope. Although I'm happy with the last 2 wins, I've been reminded countless times that it could be a false dawn. E.g PSG, chelsea(4-0), draw with liverpool and many more. Every time we thought we are back, then we lost the next match to some small team and #Oleout will be all over again.

The fringe players are doing well too. Good to see that most of the first team players were rested. Real test is against everton.

QUOTE(pisces88 @ Dec 19 2019, 07:13 PM) Liverpool have reached an agreement with Salzburg for the transfer of Japan playmaker Takumi Minamino, the Premier League club said on Thursday. Liverpool did not disclose the fee but British media have reported that his release clause was 7.25 million pounds excellent deal for liverpool.. is this the guy that dribbled and humiliated van djik?
