Guys,
I was the one the organised the failed bulk for Rogaine Foam as the items were siezed by JABATAN KESIHATAN NEGERI as the chemical , Minoxidil, is not registered under Malaysian Drugs list (how stupid).

Now now, I've seen pharmacies carrying Rogaine (liquid form containing Minoxidil too) and can someone tell me these pharmacies are breaking laws too??

Real question is, where can I get the Rogaine Foam in Malaysia? Please share some info as many,many forumers are eager to know (based on the numbers of reserves in my bulk list).

Go ask the doctors, they have those handguide book(its like a yellow page for drugs) wheere you can get all sorts of stuffs that u neeed.

btw i dont see any rogaine here. Not sure if theres any.

as far as i know, from what the Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri officer told me, the minox found in Rogaine is illegal. but what the heck, it's approved by FDA! i mean FDA!! in US!

If thats the case, how can all the other form of rogaine / regaine come into Msia? Mine is from SJMC but in liquid form. I have a funny feeling that they just want duit kopi imho.

Thanks right. But i dont think they want duit kopi coz the officer who told me was a lady..i doubt ladies would do things like that. She was quite helpful too, showing me a leaflet on the drugs registration crap.

Btw, where did u get ur liquid Rogaine? I am desperate now, liquid also nvm, although many would opt for foam due to its effectiveness

I was ordering some cool supplements last year and this stupid shit happened to me as well. I bet the kastam never destroyed the stuff, they either use it themselves or present it to their bosses for some boot-licking points.

Basically Malaysia lacks the tech know-how to make world class stuff AND the market is not yet developed enough for importers to start distributing them here, but for the sake of protecting the existing Tongkat Ali infant industry, all sorts of crazy laws are put in place to make internationally approved drugs illegal in Bolehland.

Hello there, I like to share with you guys my experience with the Rogaine 5% liquid I bought over the counter in Guardian.

I don't use it on my head but I use it on my face, because I desperately want to grow a beard.

I used Rogaine for 3 months, and stopped for about 6 months, and starting using again (still using now). I have seen great improvements on my facial hair. There has been so much coverage and vellus hair growing out, it's just unbelievable. In fact, I feel positive about growing a full beard given enough time.

I'm Chinese and like most chinese family, they can't get grow decent facial hair. Some not even a single strand of hair!

So any men here who wants to grow a beard, try Rogaine!

I do have other great tips to share.

if you want to buy at pharmacy, some pharmacy sell product name regaine 2ml. some pharmacy need surat doktor to buy that product..

You can buy also at Subang Jaya Medical Center @ rm250/bottle (but you need to make appointment with doc first)

The active ingredient in Regaine/Rogaine is only Minoxidil. Other than that, it only contains alcohol and nothing else.

You don't have to get the original Regaine/Rogaine brand, which is a waste of money.

If you go to local pharmacy shops, not prominent ones like Watson/Guardian, you can get alternative brands which has the same Minoxidil content at lower price.

I bought Regro 5% 60ml at only RM130. It also comes with the spray connector, just like Regaine's. I bought it in the pharmacy shop opposite Island Plaza in Penang.

Regaine 5% 60ml costs RM170-RM230. Which is very expensive!!

Another pharmacist also told me there are cheaper brands if you try search harder, mostly made from India. Regro's from Australia.

So when you go to pharmacy shop, don't ask for Regaine, ask for Minoxidil. Don't buy 2%, it's slow and useless. Get 5%. Other countries offer 10%-12%, but that's difficult to get.


Okay, other than that....

I manage to get a 2oz bottle of Copper Peptides from my friend who's studying in UK for about 17 pounds. Copper Peptides is not permitted to Malaysia, government will confiscate.

Anyway, they say it helps to convert Vellus Hair to Terminal Hair. I think it did had quite some effect on my sideburn, which i've been trying to grow.

You don't really need Rogaine, Rogaine is Expensive..any products with 5% Minoxidil will work. But bear in mind that Treatment alone won't work, you need to change your lifestyle or else it is pointless. If you really want a good recovery you have to try a regimen of treatment. ermm... no... 1st of all u must understand how this chemicals work... they inhibit DHT ... but i doubt your chin's hairlessness is caused from that.... minoxidil dont help you grow hair, but it reduces hairlost and thinning...

here 5% minoxidil or 10% will cost around 170-250 depending on brand... but if it is directly imported from the states, assuming a generic brand... it will only be around 60 -100 .... depending on volume...

but since a forummer's bulk fail... i will try to do a bulk as well... maybe by declaring it as something else...

Why buy from overseas when you can get rogaine here? why use foam? liquid is much better you know...

because overseas is much cheaper...

Kirkland is indeed another manufacturer of generic Minoxidil but it usually sells for more than RM 100 per bottle. I am afraid of the credibility of the fella in lelong selling at such a low price..you know these things a lot of fakes also..

wah ..so cheap...i don dare to try it...outside got a lot of fakes...maybe they use the bottle of famous brand..but the inside liquid is mineral water oni...who noe...u must noe the product for cure hair loss need 3 or more months to c the result...after 3 or 4 months just noe the product is fake...it too late alr loh...

10% does not mean it's more effective than 5%. It's best to use the recommended dosage to prevent possible side effects from Minoxidil.

I'm sure you can get a list of side effect of minoxidil when you google it. I have been using it for 5 months. The only side effect i noticed was initially itching of the scalp. But it just disappear after few weeks of continuous using.

If you really want to fight MPB, you need to explore using propecia, minoxidil and nizoral 2% together.
