For those who hoping for Poch to replace Emery:

Pochettino said: "I am never going to be manager of Barcelona or Arsenal because I am so identified with Tottenham and Espanyol.”

We need a manager that can make gervinho play like messi.
Not a manager that make 70mil pound signing play like gervinho.

top 4 is very slim chance, not even top 6.
Be prepared to be without any european football next season, we are only mid table team.

Not much choices if we sack emery now:

Allegri - proven only in italian league and most experience in winning silverwares. But he had an easy job as he inherited a dominating team from conte. Now even sarri can easily win the serie A with juventus. So, not sure if he can bring Arsenal forward in the most difficult league. And he is also another gd ebening coach who cant speak english, will have communication problem with players and fans

Arteta - inexperience, i’d prefer ljungberg to takeover than get arteta as head coach

Poch - great choice but he is more likely to join bayern or man utd than arsenal

Benitez - currently struggling in chinese league, i’d prefer to give chance to ljungberg/arteta than this guy

Ljungberg - if we cant get any top class coach, then we should give him chance as interim manager and see how he perform. And hope he doesnt do a solsk.

Why Arteta is being put in such high regards, he has no experience except of working under Pep.
*
Agreed. I'm not even sure if Pep himself can improve Arsenal without big spending like Barca/Bayern/Man City.

Instead of focusing on manager why not focus on January transfer?

Defence and Midfield badly need quality signing. And whoever that mastermind the Pepe deal to waste AFC money should be sacked.

AFC do spend the money but when many of the big money signing flop like Zhaka, Mustafi, Pepe, it drags the club down as well...

It seems buying iutside the EPL represent huge risk. Might as well buying proven EPL player.
*
Proven EPL player cost a bomb especially in January.
And they can also become flop after join us if we have bad manager with bad tactic.
Better to invest in young players as we have many wonder kids as the moment. Keep buying players will hinder their progress and Gnabry case will happen again.

Looks like Emery will be gone sooner than expected, the oracles has spoken:

Ornstein: “It looks like a matter of when rather than if, and it will come down to results.”

“They could have been clear and said it’s not going to be a matter of results and we’re going to stick by him (Emery) until the end of the season, those aren’t the messages now coming out of the club.”

McGarry: “The representatives of former Juventus boss Max Allegri, who is living in London and learning English, have been contacted by Arsenal with regards to the possibility of taking over at the Emirates.”

“We can also tell you that an unscheduled board meeting between the Arsenal directors is due to take place in the next 48 hours to discuss the current plight and the possible replacement of Emery as head coach.”

Well. I guess having Freddie here will ensure aubemayang and lacazette will not leave.
*
only if ljungberg can turn it around and finish top 4 (or winning europa league) for champions league next season.

anyway, I don't mind one of them leaving, having both of them is just awkward for modern football formation.

aubameyang is already 30 yrs old, if we can recoup more than 50m then just sell him in january.
arsenal captain wont last long anyway...

Even if we have a new manager, our defense is still shitty in general, so is our midfield. What a waste of money buying Pepe, we don't even need this dude. Could have bought like 2 good CB
*
Pepe is needed to play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation.
After iwobi left, we only have nelson, martinelli and saka as winger, pepe is supposed to provide world class threat down the wing for us but thats not happening.

Without depth in winger department, our formation will be limited to 3-4-1-2 with wing-backs to provide wide attacking threats. Or worse, 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond which was a disaster.
