I thinking to get a new XBOX360 but I not sure if I should get a modded or not. Unmodded can play online right?

What are pros and cons of both? TQ.

I'll sort it easily.

CONS: MODDED
PROS: UNMODDED

Put it another way, there is no cons with unmodded set, and there is no pros with moded set

PROS = Im More handsome then unkool

CONS = He is waaaaaay fairer then me..

I Think this has been posted somewhere about PROS AND CONS...and its been answered...try searching

unmodded = got warranty from S'pore, game expensive,but can LIVE
modded = eat urself after 3ROD,cheaper game,cannot online, live

Anyways if you want to use your 360 for live, get original ones. If not for live, choose which ever you like.

If you don't care about playing online and getting banned, and playing Jack Sparrowed games, modded.
If you DO care about playing online, and not getting banned, unmodded. Of course, you'll have to buy original games.

There's always fear of 3ROD.

With all the bad press the box is getting for bricking and 3ROD, it surprises me that the average consumer is still thinking of not wanting microsoft's 1 year warranty.

Its true that you have a warranty for unmodded, but you still have to send it back to SG after the 1:1 date lapses. That's not cheap.

Well... there's always a x-clamp fix... but I don't think it will last long though. Get the so call enhanced Xbox, M$ stated that it will less likely to get 3ROD<-- however not completely.

Shame though... anyways, get the ori console. I cant imagine Xbox 360 without Live service. Even when I'm single player game, I would still login to Live. Also, without Live your gamer points would be useless as well. Who would know that you got 300000 gamer points if you do not have Live?

hezda: going along with this point... You can also get free maps / modes for games not to mention preview game trailers and download upcoming games for free.
