I am in the midst of writing my will.

Is it legal to throw my ashes into the sea after cremation?

Anyone has any experience?

Thanks!

Choose a location that is nice. If you do it at Klang river someone maybe took a picture and say not nice things about it. You know la how social media works.

True dat.

Don't wanna cause more trouble for my wife too.

My choice would be sea, easier I suppose.

I think if want do proper way need to get permit from bandaraya or sea authority.
If not proper you become illegal resident of sea. 永不超生
*
LOL. Illegal resident of sea.

Charter a ferry and throw the ashes into the sea. Done deal.

Maybe Penang ferry possible?
*
Yup, am from Penang so was thinking just go middle of the bridge in middle of the night, say some prayers and throw over into the sea.

Why sea? Why can't it be longkang / stream/ river / pond / water bodies?

Why can't tanam inside a pot n grow vegetables out of it?
*
Was thinking of composting like in an article I read in the US.

But Msia macam takde.

Kasi buang saja... Sea.... Long Kang... Sama saja.
Both also water... Nanti evaporate... Go into cloud and come back down as rain... Masuk balik longkang.
Better still if you ask them to put pressure on your ash until you turn into diamonds.
*
Dei, mana ada ashes boleh evaporate mia.

It's legal in designated locations. There is 1 in Morib and 1 more in PD that I know of. Not sure about other states.

If you're Indian then it's tradition to spread your ash into the ocean.

if you're Chinese, no idea. lol
*
Good info.

Am Chinese but I am open minded.

That's the reason I chose to just throw into sea.

Easy and simple.
