You can try Doyoung malaysia. It has a small showroom and plenty of selection with affordable pricing online.

Planning to buy most of my furniture from taobao, dining table, dining chairs, console, coffee table, sofa, cabinets, kitchen sink, toilet accessories....
local furnitures are just too old fashion and cant keep up with time. Or im too poor to buy from branded shop. And to be honest, when you surf taobao long enough, you start to spot local furniture shops selling furniture from taobao. This post has been edited by hungrygodzilla: Oct 18 2020, 12:46 AM |

Hello, may I know what courier service do you use to ship your taobao furniture? Aren't they too big and expensive to ship to Malaysia? And it's true, I saw furniture store like Mumu living actually selling furnitures from 林氏家具 on Taobao...local furnitures are just too old fashion and cant keep up with time. Aren't they too big and expensive to ship to Malaysia? -> too big yes, but too expensive don't think so, way cheaper than the over priced local shop that source from the same place. Just that I'm taking a lot more risk and i have to deal with shit along the way. thelifechangingme liked this post

You probably need an agent who's familiar with sea shipping and provides services for sea shipping for buying large furniture. They'll send the items via ship, takes around 1 to 2 months to arrive. Cheaper than air shipment for sure, but I can personally warn you that 1) it'll take time, because ships only jalan when certain quota met and slow to arrive here, and 2) if your luck bad, it can be inconsistent, like stuff gets "lost" or undelivered to you.Experience: friend got ship in large prop for stage production, item was 200kg+ because it's all heavy duty metal for stability. Took 1 month to arrive. This post has been edited by DragonReine: Oct 20 2020, 06:47 PM thelifechangingme liked this post

I see, thank you so much for the help! Will look into it and see if it's worth to save and ship from overseas!Experience: friend got ship in large prop for stage production, item was 200kg+ because it's all heavy duty metal for stability.
