I'm confused between Realme 5 vs Realme 3 pro. At the moment, both are selling at RM799 (R5 4/128, R3Pro 4/64). It's a no brainer to get the R5, right?
Hoping R3pro will have lelong sale when clearing stock.

I see. The photos from R3pro are comparable, if not better than those of R5pro, from what i saw at gsmarena. But 8/128 does look interesting. However, at RM1099 for R5pro, there are mind boggling choice of other phones to choose.

Agree on the specs. Actually as recently as one-two weeks ago, I thought Realme was a sub-category of Xiaomi phones

Idk about others, but the main reason I'm even contemplating buying realme over xiaomi is its price.

I was also hoping to see 3 pro 4/64 being discounted after the launch of 5 pro. Unfortunately, the price is now even higher at RM899 (was RM799). Looks like they want to push the sale of 5 pro.

Congrats. It's a fine phone for its spec. Been eyeing this and R3 Pro (always sold out at chup stage) but realised I preferred front finger print reader.

It led me to Realme X at RM100x... Then Mi 9T 64Gb was going for 999 - better soc and no notch but no memory card slot.
"Ok, better top up a bit for 128gb, sekali rom not enough, don't wanna regret mah".

Since getting mi 9t 128gb liao, why not top up a bit for mi 9t pro 128gb? And that how I got self-suckered into buying mi 9t pro 128gb. Luckily I ran out of time (close to 12am liao, else might end up with OnePlus 7t pro.

Exactly my thought. To get the 9t 128gb macam not worth it compared to 9t pro as price difference not much.

Having said that, my 2.5 years old redmi note 4 still has 11gb space left, out of 64gb rom. It's a slippery slope lol.
