Coming probably after Realme 5 Pro launch.

I have not read much about overheat issue from reviewers. I would have bought R5Pro if it were not for the IPS LCD screen. I'm eyeing on X2. There is not much I heard from youtube reviews complaining about overheat issue.

If anyone got Realme 5 Pro please tell me how clear it is to view the screen on a sunny afternoon. I hear some say display not clear outdoor.

I went to a shop today hoping to see the unit in action. Unfortunately they have the dummy set. Actual phone will arrive next week.

I had a lot of thought about this and decide to get the Realme 5 Pro as I'm budgeting around RM1K.

Yes, it has IPS LCD, but I like avoid potential burn-in on the screen, faster finger print scanner, and most important a camera with Sony IMX586 sensor.

But Realme 3 Pro runs Snapdragon 710 with 16MP camera while Realme 5 runs Snapdragon 665 with 12MP camera, so maybe some of the reason why old Realme 3 pro price can be on par with Realme 5.

Realme 3 Pro sensor is Sony IMX519, which is probably why it is good. Same sensor used on Oneplus 6T.

Sure got many choice at RM1099, but try to find other brand with such specs.

I also not familiar with the brand only recently knew it is sub brand of Oppo, another brand I'm not famliar with. However the praises I read Realme got from reviews convinced me to give it a shot so what the hell. My last phone was Asus, had Samsung, Nokia and iPhone so I have no loyalty to any particular brand.

Very flagship killer unfortunately we probably won't see it release here for a couple of months or more.

I'm iffy about buying import phones. Worry about custom tax and network compatibility.

Probably get from normal shop. They have stock in shop since last week but I wanted the realme earbuds online. See how lah.

Nah, I rather just stick to realme official just so I not worry about warranty issue. Will go shop around this weekend hope to find blue unit.

Probably. XT is Realme 5 Pro but with Super AMOLED, in display fingerprint, and 64MP camera.
