I mean December update

I bought the Realme 5 Pro at the end. Paid around RM910. I could have wait longer for discount at RM870.

Reason I buy Realme 5 Pro over the Redmi Note 8 (non Pro)
1. VOOC 3.0
- Is proven better fast charging tech than Qualcomm, faster from 0-50% in less than 30min, less hot, can charge during use and wont throttle the charging speed.

2. Snapdragon 712
- slightly better than the Redmi Note 8 SoC, Qualcomm SD can give faster update for ColorOS as proven previous track record that using Mediatek.

3. 128GB base storage (the 8GB RAM is a plus)
base storage the more the better, you know all senior wont know how to manage their storage, the more the better to store good morning picture or voice note.

Others feature I no mention here, is because you already know is similar to Redmi Note 8. Like Quad Camera, Type C etc...

yeah, true. it was bummer that Note 8 Pro opt for Mediatek SoC. I have use 2 Mediatek SoC Redmi phone from the past, all ending up late/slow or no update at all.
