Guys,

I am planning to buy a watch for my parents, preferable to be couple watch. Some of my requirements:
- classic and matured look, as they are almost 60 years old already. Dun wan too sporty or kiddy look.
- around 4 to 5k per pair (so each around 2k maybe). Willing to up my budget to 6k if necessary.

My parents are very traditional type, and dun really into watch. But I plan to purchase a pair for them for formal use, eg, wedding dinner.

Based on my survey so far, Tissot is in this price range. Any other brand suggestion?

Oh yeah, movement is quartz only, mechanical is a no-no, as I dun wan extra hassle for them.

Thanks in advance.

Edit to add 1 more question: for elderly, stainless steel or leather strap is more suitable?

Any suggestion for seiko series? Is it presage?

I go through their website, they do not have the price listed. Hard to judge/survey.

if your parents are not very brand conscious about watches then you can consider timex.. quite affordable around 200-300 range during promotion for their easy reader or other indiglo dress design mid size watches

otherwise tissot everytime should be your best bet if you are looking for a swiss made branding dress watch around the rm700+/- range

Presage line.
anyhow, you may try check in Carousell - there's one shop @casiopro_onlinestore
there's one guy name Steve. some model is a bit hard to get and need to get online, i got from him.
his shop in Kajang mall, soft spoken guy and i would recommend his price is lower the retail price from the one displayed biggrin.gif

i dont receive any commision tho laugh.gif but i figure if you plan to get for parents, better get from reliable from shop without breaking the banks.
i bought my seiko turtle from him last year, still under warranty and no issue so far.

all ze best brada flex.gif
