The newer the degree, the more useless it is.

The first batch of Hospitality students studied both Tourism, Kitchen, and Hotel Management.

The second batch studies Tourism alone, kitchen production alone, or hotel management alone.

The third becomes a sub-standard degree with some useless topic.

Degree nowadays is worthless tbh, unless you're in IT, Accounting, or Finance. Not business management yeah, business management is a high-class hotel escort for bosses.

Got an offer to go the UK, I went and pass their second interview. Took the job and handling the food production kitchen for Wetherspoon, other pubs, you name it. Later got headhunted to become F&B quality controlling surveyor, working under some super-duper high idiocy department and do an inspection to various food and beverage establishments. Even had the opportunity to open course and teach dumb young european, asian, english, and those only their mother know where they come from, about what is F&b, Quality control, surveying, and management.

Then after few years inside this company, I graduated and become my own boss. Found my waifu, learn about the deadly tricks to earn more, and here I am, ex teacher, ex staff, ex manager, and ex bf of those crazy wimmin out there.

TBH, asian market is quite a big one for angmoh business.

The ability to speak malay, english, chinese, jepunis, and koleanis are quite sought after in overseas.

I got mine also because I can crawl into the chinese people industry and manage their food quality control during my job.

Dunno become what level translator already to handover translated documents for superior.

grad malaysia. was headhunted

no special tips, unfortunately. my experience + skill set happened to be a good fit. had 3 rounds of interviews: headhunter > technical challenge > hiring manager > on-site shadowing for 2 days. after 2.5yrs, got disillusioned and moved on to new company. love the company, job is meh. can't get everything i guess

Gg betul la ts tanya soalan ni. As long as you have good reputation , the Angmos will keep calling you back to help on new project. I didnt even offer myself, other ppl just nominated my name.
I dun even have a lousy malaysian IR or electrictian cert.
But i can sign off documents here for HV equipment.
I just ask the sparkies to run around and i sit in aircond room doing excel sheet.

Why not?

You can get jobs when you have a skill that most angmoh doesn't have

e.g. in the forefront of technology but China will offer you double and give you expat status because angmoh and Sg look down on Malaysians
