maybe I'll take a mirror pic of my N70 thru its own camera later. Using hairul's black housing. Definitely better than 'other forumer'. Just the camera slide not working 80% of the time for the first 2 days. After put in jeans for few days it seems camera slide working 100%.

An installation issue is the back cover for the lens, the one with Nokia printed on it(NOT camera slide/battery cover), I could not get it to open using plastic card. I saw the video but it surely needs something very thin and hard. Screwdriver would scratch though. Would be nice if had the 'guitar pick-like' thing.

Hey, I got idea! Anybody got nice ready made fonts for N70 why not post here? So we can download and straight paste into our System/Fonts folder, dont have to use gdr and make mistake, get confused, etc.

So, how? OK? I really like any fonts that is more thicker and easier on the eyes than the default one.

Come on, lets share!

P.S.: I just want to clarify that editing and using fonts edited by others does not use any cracked or pirated software.

authorised distro sales package is the same as each other and same as nokia malayisa site. U can see the contents there.

Found out that file extensions in capital letters cant be detected by the powermp3 software. For example somemusicfile.MP3 must be changed to somemusicfile.mp3 for it to be detected.

Not sure abt the built-in Music Player though.

i cant change my fonts, whatever method i tried

-install .sis fonts
-create system/fonts folder

i google'd my problem, and there are some users that couldnt change fonts no matter what method they tried. One explanation is if the firmware has chinese language, the font could not be changed. but my n70 dont have chinese language.

Help, i just wanna change to prettier, fatter, and more visible fonts.

i followed many methods to change fonts, and im still not successful to change fonts. The methods i used to change fonts include using the font folder method . Thus, is there any other way to change fonts that u guys know.

Finally, the hs20/ad41 headset i bought from hairul 'kaput' already after nearly a year's use. The adapter is spoilt, not the earphones.

Thus, due to my loyalty towards N70, I have made a decision to purchase a new ad41/hs20. A forumer offered me ori is rm90 and fake is rm50 - is that the price nowadays, or is there anywhere else i can buy cheaper for ori? Personally, I dont trust the seller as he didnt answer my question when i asked whether the ori package comes in full nokia packaging.

wahhh...still alive this thread. Im still using my N70-1 faithfuly until this day. Thinking of buying a new housing for it but dunno where can get quality stuff. I just use it naked bcoz dont like the bloat.

My N70 still OK, eventhough I already gave up on music + fm listening thru it due to the headset keep getting spoilt. New and ori AD41/HS20 is RM100, so I dont think its worth it.

Got a PDA HP ipaq rx4540 1 year back and just got a Creative Zen. Thus my N70 is just a communication device.

I bought my i-Mobile N70 in May 2006 at RM1600. If sell as 2nd hand now it would b dirt cheap around rm500. So better to just use it till it dies.

seems like the guy at Nokia Service Center didnt update for me. I sent my N70 for repair around August 07 and he said the firmware was latest, so i took his word for it.

I hereby bump this thread, which seemed to be buried in threads of lesser phones undeserving of their places.

lowyat plaza got one shop offer me rm65 for AP Original housing and keypad plus install. Should I get from there?

my keypad and housing(black) sudah buruk already. but phone still fine.

already sold my N70, good memories with it

after cleaning it still looks good for a 2y7m old phone
