ONE STOP CAR SHOPPING DESTINATION NOW STOPPED?

In 2005, Naza Motor-Trading launched its largest car showroom in Malaysia, the Naza Automall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. After 13 years, it is still the largest air-conditioned car showroom in the country. With a built-up area of 250,414 square feet and with a capacity to hold 2,000 cars, the Naza Automall has become a landmark in Petaling Jaya and a haven for auto aficionados. Naza Automall symbolised the group’s status as the largest importer of used and re-conditioned luxury and high-end vehicles in Malaysia. Naza Automall has won a mention in the Malaysia Book of Records for being the largest motor showroom in the country. Furthermore, it is without a doubt the largest showcase of luxury vehicles in the country and has even become a popular destination for tourists visiting Malaysia.

October 2019: The showroom is bereft of cars. The floors are unclean. Are cleaners unpaid? Outside, advertising billboards and signage of long-lost dealerships still on display. Is Naza unable to fork out the money to have them taken down? This once symbol of Naza’s total dominance in the Motor Industry now shouts out Naza’s decline and coming demise in the industry that had once given their late father the title of Malaysia’s “AP King”. What the late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin has built up in his lifetime, is now taking less than one generation of his children, to demolish.

What Tan Sri has left behind had already survived an RM$300 million payout to each of his two other wives who surfaced AFTER his passing. It has survived the loss of the Harley Davidson, Chevrolet and Aprilia franchise. It had survived the brutal cutting off of Tan Sri’s beloved sister and other brothers from their participation in the Naza group empire that they had helped build. All of them cast off by Tan Sri’s own children….BUT…Tan Sri’s mistress still is an employee of Naza. Her employment agreed to by Puan Sri and her çhildren because her silence about the goings-on within Naza by the late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin had to be bought. Naza also survived the taking out of SM Faisal, the eldest son, from heading the family fortunes, to be replaced by his younger sibling, Nasarudin.

But no business can survive millions being frittered away on mistresses, high living, open-ended expense accounts, money laundering, tax evasion and money being siphoned off to feed “employees” who are living off Naza without giving anything back. No business can survive inept employees who are put in charge of departments way below their ability to manage. Samson Anand George is but one such example. He is the group CEO of the automotive business and also in charge of advertising. Without exception – all of Nazas automotive sales have declined drastically. The atrocious Sales and Service sector of Naza, critical to the survival of any entity in this most competitive of business, has been the reason for this decline. Deposits from clients for the purchase of cars have been taken by Naza employees who have then gone missing. Lack of spare parts and atrocious service has meant that people no longer want to buy Kia and Peugeot cars.

Maserati: Naza has a non-performing loan with one of the Banks which they have used to purchase Maserati. They have not been able to service the loans because Maserati cars are not selling. And what money they have made from selling those Maserati cars have been used for other purposes as cash flow is tight. They are now building a showroom in Penang for Maserati because Maserati and Ferrari are now two separate entities. Maserati wants its own showroom. It is a vicious circle. Get revolving credit from the banks with their own land as security to buy Maserati cars. They cannot sell these cars and cannot service their bank loans. Maserati now wants a showroom in Penang. Borrow money elsewhere, delay payment to the contractors and somehow try to still get the contractor to finish the showroom on time. All the time, Sime Darby, DRB-Hicom, Wearne’s Automotive and other smaller but hungrier players lurk in the background waiting for Naza to fail. Waiting for Maserati to decide if Naza is the right partner for them in Malaysia. It is not a matter of if, but when, Naza will lose this franchise.

Ducati, Vespa and Indian Motorcycle : Indian is Naza’s only American brand after losing Harley-Davidson. Ignored and not developed, the brand is as good as dead with Naza. Harley-Davidson, Triumph and other lifestyle motorcycle brands are winning customers and retaining old ones. Ducati is popular but the Desmo Owner’s Club of Malaysia has boycotted Naza-organised events, speaking of discrimination and bad aftersales service. The brand is also no longer at the top of the mind of riders. Vespa soldiers on mainly due to the fan base, but expensive parts and as usual, poor understanding of what aftersales is, does not do Naza any good. After taking Aprilia away, Piaggio Group may pull Vespa away at any moment. Like Maserati, there are many smaller, hungrier distributors waiting to come in to take these brands away.

Kia Motors: Once the jewel in Naza’s crown for volume sales and the backbone of Naza’s Gurun plant production sells less than half of Mazdas sold in Malaysia per year. The Koreans have been shopping around for a new partner, but things are difficult as the others will have to do a lot of silap mata, Samson Anand George style to achieve the retail prices Kia has enjoyed for years and years in this country. Perhaps it is better for them to also lay low and not get involved in a money-laundering and tax fraud scandal that would get them onto headlines worldwide, so they are sticking with Naza for now, having no real alternatives.

Peugeot and Citroen: Having closed most branches, and Citroen branches much earlier, they are limping along selling one-third of what they used to. When the distributor no longer has faith in the brand, how are dealers supposed to go on? Citroen’s annual target is only 100 units, meaning they sell less than half of what Porsche sells in Malaysia! How many of those will be company cars, I wonder? Nasim will soon close ALL branches except for their Glenmarie HQ, and that is not confidence-inspiring for customers or dealers.

First, they lost most of their F&B businesses, and now their automotive businesses are in a slow but steady decline. Now, Tan Sri’s children are busy enjoying their holidays and lavish lifestyle 80% of the time, and spend only 20% or less of their time on the business, and when they do they don’t seem to know what goes where or who should be accountable for what. The banks and other creditors need to take a very close look at Naza, as do dealers and customers.

SM NASARUDIN’S MISSING GROUP AUTOMOTIVE CEO



Followers of #NAZA’s Joint Group Executive Chairman SM Nasarudin may have noticed that he posted on 4th October 2019 an Instagram post on his account with the comment “Vans x Batik kinda #Friday. 2020 Business Plan & Budget Conference. #NAZAGroup Teamwork makes the dream work. Major transformation process taking shape, InsyaAllah the best is yet to come.”



#NAZA’s Deputy Group Automotive CEO Ramasamy Devaraju an Indian national was present as was automotive finance head Marina Mansor. However, conspicuously absent was #NAZA’s famous Group Automotive CEO Dato’ #SamsonAnandGeorge, who hastily left Facebook and Twitter in April 2019. To date he has not been seen at launch events. #SamsonAnandGeorge and his team are actively involved in tax fraud and money laundering as shown here.



On the side, #Samson actively milks #NAZA to suit his needs and has run the business so badly that they have run into serious cashflow issues, with former staff now denying they have ever worked there!



What really happened to #SamsonAnandGeorge? Is he in hiding? Do the principals #Kia Motors, Groupe #PSA, Piaggio Group, #Ducati, #Ferrari and #Maserati, #Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. (FCA) know what is going on at #NAZA Group? Do they know they are at risk of being sucked into a global tax fraud and money-laundering investigation thanks to #NAZA and Samson?

There have been many stories coming out from #NAZA. Some good and some bad. Who am I kidding! The stories coming out of #NAZA are all bad! We, 'Valkyrie are spoiled for choice in deciding what we should or should not publish to share with you out there in Bolehland. You can rest assured that we always double and at times triple check and verify the truth of what we publish about #NAZA in The Truth About NAZA.

Three Heads of Departments leaving in the space of a few months is, to say the least, catastrophic. Or maybe the phrase to use would be “a taste of things to come”. Tales of Tax Evasion and money laundering is worrying for any business but when LHDN comes a calling on individuals, now that is a “wet your pants” moment for anyone involved in these Money Laundering and Tax Evasion scams that #NAZA has been pulling on the Malaysian government for the past many years and counting.

Under Najib and Barisan Nasional, #NAZA has had a charmed life. The #NAZA brothers thought themselves “protected” by the powers that be. PDRM was in their pockets. Cars were presented to PDRM and police officers were bribed to look the other way when investigations in Emila’s Domestic Violence report was submitted. Not only did the police look the other way, but even the charges of Domestic Violence against Faisal was also thrown out of court as being unworthy of even being considered by the court. Dismissed without charge. Dare I suggest that the Judge was bribed? Yes, I dare. The judge was bribed to throw the Domestic Violence charge out of court.

But all good things come to an end eventually.

With PH in government, the wheel of justice has started to turn, albeit still too slowly. Faisal’s domestic violence case is being looked at again and will come to trial soon. And his perjury case has been decided. He is guilty. He now awaits his punishment.

Today in #NAZA, bank loans are not being serviced and credit lines are now dried up. Car stocks are depleted. Spare parts are not available and service centers carry no stock of much-needed parts. Suppliers now insist on payment before delivery. People are no longer buying Kia and Peugeot and other vehicles sold by #NAZA are being looked at closely before they are bought to see if any of their promised after-sales services are kosher!

Now senior management is running scared. The #NAZA boys cannot leave their own sinking ship for there really is nowhere else for them to go. Neither can Dato Samson Anand George, their head of Automative and Advertising. They are all up to their neck in tax evasion and money laundering scams. Even if they leave, they cannot run away far enough to get beyond the reach of the authorities.

But their senior staff are leaving. Yasser Aman, CEO Nasim Sdn Bhd and Nazman Yusof Head of 2Wheels Division have left. #NAZA Kia GM is considering same. And why are they leaving? They either feel the business is hopeless or are afraid of an impending investigation into NAZA’s tax evasion and money laundering activities. Between you and me…I would go for both!

And down the line, all those in #NAZA doing the accounts, keeping two or three sets of books and falsifying documents and other “support” staff to Samson’s scams, are scared shitless waiting for the authorities to call them up for questioning. And the authorities will call them up sooner rather than later.

When all this is happening we fail to see what #Notelo (aka Faisal) can do for himself and for #NAZA with his feeble and pathetic attempt at whitewashing his bumiputra porn star status with a last gasp public relations blitz. What is Notelo doing? He posts images of him going off to Umrah with his mother on his social media accounts. On his return from Umrah he had dinner with the notorious Zakir Naik. Then more pictures of him and his mother, the same mother that he had once called a “witch”. #Notelo then gives a pep talk to students at SMK Aminuddin Baki. He visits an orphanage. What is all this in aid off? All done to take the Malaysian public mind of those porn movies he has taken of himself “doing it” with Helen. Porn movies that have made the rounds of Bolehland, specifically in the motor trade, at least twice over and for some, three-time over. And of course countless sharing and forwarding to and fro among the staff of #NAZA.

It does not look good for #Notelo and the #NAZA boys. As expected they are dragging many others into the hell hole they have dug for themselves. There are others who have profited handsomely from the various scams and the Tax Evasion and Money laundering scams perpetrated by Dato Samson Anand George and unwittingly supported by the #NAZA boys and friends. They know who they are and if needed, we will name those that we havet not yet name. Watch this space.
