Play on la idiots, so concerned about fair play like we have a 20 point lead at the top when it was just a bloody cramp.

Tammy with a weak header yet again. May as well stop with the high crosses at this point.

Soft soft goal to concede. Kepa just doesn't look like he's saving anything these days.

What an awful miss by michy. That's what happens when u bench players for too long.

Rubbish result and finishing. Our finishing is just disgraceful, tammy, willian, michy, cho all can't finish to save their bloody lives. Deserved boos. We should be embarrassed and I don't think we're getting top four this season.

First time I've actually felt like it's beyond us, and this performance just highlights that this bunch just doesn't have the mentality for it. At least not now. Maybe in the future I don't know, but a lot will depend on how long Frank stays. Europa league is calling and that's exactly what we deserve. Heck we're top seven level if we're being generous. Most definitely not top four.

Looking at how all our players attack headers, I can safely say they don't practice them in training. None of them do. Rudi, christensen, tammy, zouma, azpi, all have brain farts when they see a perfect cross fizzed towards their heads. You can bet your bottom dollar if NO DEFENDERS were around, they'd still fail to hit the target. I'm convinced they don't practice them at all, so why bother? May as well work on low crosses instead if everyone's so incapable. Tammy had 2 shocking misses in my book, where the pace of the ball was perfect, all he needed to do was head it away from the keeper, from 6 - 8 yards out. Instead what you get are two flawless 'defender' type headers where its basically a back pass and the keeper doesn't even have to move.

Apart from that, how shocking is kepa's distribution these days? Almost all his clearances never cross the halfway line and drop to an opponent's feet. Under sarri, he was ice cold on the ball, and you can expect 2,3 attacks being started off by a well placed long pass to our LB/RB or winger. Now he just clears everything like some championship level mug,and he's terrified of making a pass longer than 5 yards! The new goal keeping coach who's working with kepa just isn't good enough, because hes' getting worse and we seem to be playing to his weaknesses instead.

That bellerin shot sure as hell looked saveable. I know on reddit they posted an image of his positioning which doesn't seem to be too bad, but I'd argue he took waaayy too long to move his feet and adjust accordingly when he saw him cutting in to take a shot.

Starting to miss the Headmaster alvaro morata? 😅

Come to think of it, yes to a certain extent sweat.gif

Apart from him,the last first team striker who could really put away those headers was drogs, and how long ago was that? Crazy. Pity giroud, if he wasn't completely frozen out I wager he would've put away at least one of those chances vs arsenal.

We have 7 days left of this transfer window, we got our ban lifted, everyone got excited, just for us to end up signing absolutely no one?

This club is actually a joke sometimes...

Heard we're back in for dembele? Seem determined to sign only quality players but I don't know man. At the moment they don't even seem to have a clear idea of which areas need strengthening. Could well end up outside the top four and struggle to convince players to join us anyways sad.gif

out of top four, we cant attract werner or sancho. simple as that. we in top four because our rival shitty than us. 2 games we dropped point but gap between no 5 keep bigger. huhu..

Quite amazing that we were saying the exact same thing last season sweat.gif

Guess we're going to drag it out till the end of the season and do it the hard way. The team's determined to give us high blood pressure for as long as possible, when will they let us relax a bit? laugh.gif

Speaking about haaland and seeing how he's living up to the hype, do u guys think we made a mistake in not just going for him? Yea I know raiola's a douchebag for insisting on that get out clause for his client, and any team who takes up the offer is practically open to losing the star striker when barca/madrid/bayern come knocking, but is it really that big a deal?

Are we basically admitting yea the team's going to hell in a couple of years when someone decides to activate the clause and turns his head..are we really that bad? Looking back down the years, many teams have lost their star players and survived just fine.

Arsenal lost henry to barca, utd lost ronaldo to madrid, pool lost suarez/coutinho to barca, spurs lost bale to madrid, and we've lost the likes of drogs and lamps, as they aged, etc. Too soon to tell how much we'll miss eden (though I'm well aware we could've used him in a couple of our games this season), but my point is nobody stays forever and perhaps that dreaded clause has been blown out of proportion.

In the end what matters most is the results we can achieve with the players we have NOW, and not worry excessively about what happens in the future. Besides, we can always convince him (or any other player for that matter) that stamford bridge is his home, and there's no need to go anywhere else. Or some other club turns his head and we lose him anyway, clause or no clause! Bottom line is, the club perseveres and moves on.

Dortmund were smart in moving swiftly with a firm bid imo, while other clubs were busy worrying about how the clause will affect them in the future. In the end they get to enjoy a top class player who'll ultimately help in their league and CL ambitions, while we're stuck with only one good striker who's showing little signs of improvement, due to the lack of competition.

Kind of underwhelming (perhaps due to his age), and above all its napoli and their crazy chairman so I'm kind of sceptical on this deal happening. All our top four rivals have strengthened and yet here we are waiting till the very last minute. Sigh. Nothing ever changes.

A result which doesn't really help us. We put them to the sword in the first and failed to take our chances as usual, and totally collapsed in the second half despite getting 2 setpiece goals. We're better than this but we're not showing it.

Frank choosing to alienate his backup strikers when we have so many games left to play is just bad management imo. If tammy is scoring and causing havoc like prime drogba it wouldn't be such a problem I guess. But the fact that he was completely invisible while being rushed back to fitness is alarming.

Going without a striker while looking progressively worse in the process, was a shocking decision imo. If he did it to send a message to the board, well that's just being unprofessional. Yea we didn't sign anyone. Get on with it and utilise what we have.

Fantastic signing! Just too bad we couldn't get him in the January window. RLC close to full fitness as well, can't wait for him to be back.

Pulisic and CHO vs utd? I certainly hope so.

Really?? Damn it. City getting banned certainly helps us to qualify for next season, but I'd imagine if utd sneak into fifth they'd have a better shot at signing sancho.

It'll probably be boga and reinforcements in CF, LB, and maybe even CB. I'm fine with that actually, so long as we get quality players. Would be insane if we manage to convince him though.
