Barkley is a baller tonight. Just amazing how he brings different dimension to the team today. Like a new signing!

His forward passes, and willingness to press (sometimes) is good. In this game he is better suited in this formation than Kante.

I dont know if burnley is really bad, or with barkley in, cho & james on the right side we are able to move the ball faster.

Couple of times i see cho, barkley receive a pass then straight away put it forward for runner to get the ball. I really like what i saw.

Score couldve been 4 5 or even 6 but our finishing is not there. Defensive wise, defender did really well.

Next game i want to see if barkley really perform or just once in a blue moon performance from him. Haha.. cant wait for rlc to get back into the team too! We are solid in the middle. Perhaps need some extra wide player, lb and striker.

Im not to say we shouldnt buy anyone. But we need to find the right player and nobody seem right right now.

Tammy is going to be the main striker up front. I dont think anybody we wanted wants to play second fiddle to that.

If you look at lampard's press statement only giroud is likely to leave. He wanted pedro to stay on too.

We have willian & pulisic on the left. Willian also can move to the right.

If anything happens, mount can play on the wing too. Lampard already used him there earlier this season. RLC can take his spot in the middle later on, he already started to train with the youth team.

Last night Kante was the culplrit. His decision making in the box was awful. Shouldve start with Barkley and Jorginho. I dont know why you guys asking for Kovacic, driving forward, he is basically more or less like Kante. He doesn't offer defence penetration movement or pass.

And Mount, I know he is still young but basically his function is off the ball play. With the ball he is piss poor average player. Cannot get past players, dumb set piece deliveries, passing also very basic.

Missing RLC badly right now.

But as I said earlier in the season, I'm willing to give this new manager a full season to see what he can do. Not panicking but this robin hood trend is a fucking disgrace.

Bro look at how many through passes he got and he wasted it. One clear chance was from reece james's pass. If he square the ball to tammy, tammy wouldve buried it. But instead he shoot from a tight angle, knowing he isnt a good finisher pun.

Mount also did the same when Kante intercepted the ball near the box that dumbfuck dribble towards the goal and shoot across the goal when he shouldve pass to open CHO to shoot.

And as I said kovacic can only dribble so much in a packed opposition half.

But also what disappoints me is, although I know jorginho importance in orchestrating players where to go and all, he lacks finesse through ball to up top. Rarely see it these days except for his pass for tammy earlier this season

This i agree too. Would like to see how will he perform. I remember in an interview or an article he said he can play as striker too. But coming back from injury i dont expect much but he got so much potential based on last season's performance.

Our team not composed enough to find a better positioned player to finish. Mount chance when he missed to shoot the ball shouldve lay it back to people behind him. But some matches, we keep passing dont want to shoot pulak.

I think upfront, we are anonymous. Cant do anything.

That's it guys we are simply not a big team anymore. The sooner you accept the fact the better. Less stress watching football.

Board dont want to buy anyone its their problem their money. The goal here is make the club sustainable without roman pumping in more money. But without UCL we cannot be sustainable We maybe have only rm15 to spend on player thats why only use academy player.

Anyways, if the team is okay being mediocre i hope lampard stays

To be honest I understand why lampard choose barkley over batshuayi.

At the moment we need someone with technical skill to keep the ball. Batshuayi with his first touch or dribbling isnt going to help the team last night.

Aside from Tammy I dont see any other player relentlessly closing down players up the pitch. And perhaps Lampard see that he need that kind of energy on the pitch.

I read an article people say that what Mount offer in the team is his ability to pull players out of position with is off the ball run. That his intelligent run is opening space for other players

But also I agree with you guys on the forum, in terms of ability on the ball he is average at best. And that frustates me when he get the ball.
