Willian was brilliant today, has to be said. Odoi was decent, although a bit selfish, probably should've finished that one on one off willy's fantastic pass. Looks fit and that's the most important thing I guess. Another international break means more recovery time for both ruben and emerson.

No goals conceded from setpieces, which is a good reason to celebrate. We definitely eased off the pedal a bit in the second half, but I like how we always seem in control of the game, even towards the end.

Once we cut out those silly mistakes, we'll look very solid. But I'll be happy with good defending on setpieces as a start!

The team is looking pretty solid now, can be a force to be reckoned with by end of the season
We've got plenty of choices upfield but need to really patch up our defense.

Last season we were defensively solid but lacked teeth upfront. This season terbalik pula lol

With Kante in midfield, Rudiger coming back, and our youth getting more experience, our defense will be solid again

Noticed that too.. hopefully don't give us the heart attack like last season when nobody want 3rd and 4th position, throwing away their games until last few games.

personally i still rate alonso higher than emerson....

although i think alonso can shine in ML position who doesn't need to focus much on defending

Realistically speaking, I think Kante is slowly getting bugged by injuries. No doubt when he is playing for us it really gives us a huge boost. But he has been getting knocks here and there. I’m starting to think the injuries might be long term? A result of him just being relentless on the pitch. He will be 29 this coming March.

Hopefully it’s nothing serious and the medical team gets to sort it out. If it is really long term injuries, it might be better for us to sell..... like 200M lol
