Pick up this beauty at Frankfurt old town.

Was not really aiming for anything but since I needed a simple dress watch... why not.

Only the watch enthusiasts know about Sinn, highly regarded among the German watch brands.

I've owned both Sinn 556i and Damasko DS30. However, I would say that the build quality of Damasko is better than my Sinn.
I received a not accurately aligned hour and minutes hand Sinn 556i. Sent it back to Europe to claim the warranty and need to bear the shipping cost 50 Euros.
When it came back, the hour and minutes are aligned nicely. I read some reviews online that Sinn have some issues on their quality control.
But still, they made a hell out of a toughest tool watches. Perhaps, it just my luck to receive a lemon one.

Fine piece of dress watch. Sinn is a good brand from Germany that might not be popular among Malaysians, but for watch collectors, they know this brand smile.gif

This brings me memories. I once had a Sinn flieger chrono.. can't remember which series, I had it on a bracelet but lost it when I got mugged sad.gif Only had it for a few months. Agreed, it's a bit under the radar but good watch.

Sorry to hear that bro. Fortunately u survived the encounter at least. Curious: did they jump u for the watch or was the watch just an afterthought along with other valuables? Always thought that sinn was nondescript enough to the uninitiated as to fly under the radar.

I was walking back to my hotel after a meeting, the guy took my company laptop (that was the real pain), wallet and watch. He probably pawned it off for like 50 bucks or so dry.gif

Good stuff mate, how does it wear? Was checking out the U50 recently, also quite cool looking in a slightly smaller form factor.

Wèars well for my 7in wrist. Good as a daily beater. No need to worry about getting scratches
