hi,
I "accidentally" apply for IB, which I don't think I will able to "waive" the inactive fee. so best advice is I just apply for Tradestation and cancel the IB?
newbie here

QUOTE(moosset @ Apr 2 2020, 05:45 PM) If IBKR UK, then yes. Otherwise, it probably won't work. I also have an IBKR acc, but not activated. Tried many times to connect to TSG, only to realise it doesn't work. live data? thanks for the replies guys. |

I found the link at Tradestation int on IB migrations.
![]() then I follow the steps until I bump into one error ![]() so I go into the settings and found this which Im not sure should I "uncheck" it? or which options should I enable / disable? ![]() I actually wrote an email to them( Tradestation) , end up the US office replying me but they seems not so helpful on this, ask me to check with IB, which I have online chat with IB, they throw the ball to TDS my IB account just got approved, so I'm not sure those settings will do any harm or not.. hahaha |

QUOTE(moosset @ Apr 18 2020, 03:24 PM) Thanks for finding the source! IB or TS-global?There is! source: I emailed them! CS: IB would charge $1 minimum activity fee if the account balance is below $1000 and there is no trading in the month. Me: Just for more clarity, if one has balance above $1000 but with no trading activity in that month, is there a minimum activity fee? CS: About the minimum activity fee, your understanding is correct. As long as you maintain the account balance over $1000, there is no minimum activity fee. i tot IB always have charges unless you have big portoflio. |

QUOTE(mr_tuzki @ Apr 25 2020, 08:14 PM) What's the best / easiest way to open a Sg bank account, without having to physically go there? I thought it was quite difficult to open an Sg bank account unless you're a PR / have a long term resident visa? Is it possible to open ask our Malaysian Maybank / CIMB branch to open a corresponding account with their Sg counterpart? use to be easy but not any more. one way is CIMB or Maybank. but I think u still need to be there. its different "country" anyway. |
