QUOTE(moosset @ Mar 25 2020, 12:22 PM) actually 10 USD also not bad.... Well, if i got open trade then i have no problem in paying the commision. But this is like not doing any buying/selling, still need to pay monthly. if you buy 2 trades in Malaysia with RM10k each, already RM40 something in commission. In IBKR, you can make many small trades. edit: RM 40 per month is like, drink less starbucks, less bubble tea, less cinema per month. I rather they increase the commission rate, but waive the monthly inactivity fee This post has been edited by madman.com: Mar 25 2020, 02:18 PM |

Im thinking to fund my ibkr acc through local bank online TT transfer, but the bank wants me to upload proof showing i had a stock purchase frm the broker as a supporting document.
I was like....Watttt??? I suppose to fund first then only able to trade, how to provide such supporting document since i not even fund my acc yet?? |

QUOTE(Yggdrasil @ Mar 29 2020, 06:37 PM) Correct. Need key in the details at the IBKR website. Yeah....me also wanna know can fund through Transferwise or not. Anyone did it before? You can fund any currency using Instarem except USD. Haven't tried Transferwise and BigPay yet but should be ok. Someone can verify this please? I'm guessing USD cannot. |

QUOTE(moosset @ Mar 29 2020, 10:53 PM) a. Don't know why make things so complicated. I don't know if it's berhad or sdn bhd, limited or private UN-limited.... If using Maybank, need to fill up recipient's id/company id. But what is interactive brokers company id? If I use InstaRem, I just type InstaRem. If I use Transferwise, I just type transferwise. If I use Maybank, I just type Maybank. If I use CIMB, I just type CIMB and nothing else. b. Nickname is for your own reference. You can even type Ali, Abu, Ah Kau .... c. Yes |

QUOTE(Yggdrasil @ Apr 2 2020, 05:21 PM) Should have futures and CFDs. If i dont subscribe market data package for the instruments i wish to trade, ibkr dont allow me to open trade. I don't subscribe. You can use MarketWatch to view live prices then key in your limit order. You can move your IBKR to TradeStation Global. Instructions are on TradeStation Global website. U can move your ibkr acc to tradestation IF your ibkr is not IBKR LLC. |
