QUOTE(Yggdrasil @ Aug 19 2020, 12:23 AM) I'm quite sure it's possible. When you apply, go straight TSG website and register. It will link back to IBKR but since you clicked the TSG link, it should work. Yes, I did that by using the link from the TSG and created a new account. But now it is almost 2 weeks, the account status is still pending approval. Do I need to submit any documentations for proof?

QUOTE(Yggdrasil @ Aug 19 2020, 12:28 AM) Yeah of course. They should ask you for at least 2 documents: Passport and IC Need to bank in $1,000 too. No, I never received any emails or instructions

Since IKBR does not accept MYR directly from TransferWise, what is the best currency to transfer to IKBR? EUR, SGD or HKD?
p/s: I notice that EUR need longer period of time for review and approval

QUOTE(VincentCS @ Sep 14 2020, 08:32 AM) Anyone here using HSBC foreign currency account? Wonder what's their opinion of it, comparing to other local banks on bringing back fund from USD. Yes, I wish to know as well, another question is how much HSBC charge for transferring fund from HSBC Everyday A/C to IKBR directly? How is the conversion rate of HSBC on MYR -> USD ?

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Sep 14 2020, 09:42 AM) No one knows as the rate changes everyday. Only way is to transfer yourself, calculate the rates by HSBC and compare against the rates of fintech on the same day. Then you will know who give you the better rates. Don’t think HSBC will give preview on the rate conversion, you will only find out the rates after the conversion done

QUOTE(Yggdrasil @ Sep 15 2020, 01:29 PM) Just click transfer and the amount. At the end, they will let you know the account number Actually I got it already, it is actually located on the top right of the application form. But now, how to transfer the SGD1000 to the CIMB SG account? I do not have any SG bank accounts, can I send TT using any local banks?

QUOTE(TOS @ Sep 15 2020, 03:02 PM) Definitely FAST (local transfer), Citibank NA is registered in Singapore. You are not transferring to an entity outside of Singapore, so why use global transfer? Transfer SGD from CIMB SG To IKBR in SGD and once the fund is in IKBR then convert it to USD using IKBR spot rate?
