Seems cool. If it is given the green light wish its something like Wise. Would be nice to be able to transfer money between this and IBKR easily plus the ability to spend with a debit card.

Based on my limited knowledge, if our brokerage account is based in Singapore or anywhere outside of the US, US Stocks and US domiciled assets (ETFs) are still subject to estate tax. The only difference is the cash portion will not be subject to it.

Sent a ticket to IBKR and was told I need a written consent from TSG. Sent a ticket to TSG and received an email on filling a form and emailing it to them.

Yeah I fear it's a short term promotion like Prosperus. But I doubt it is.

What I should put in the IB Account Title. Is it my full name ?

After filling up the form, send it to IBKR and TSG ?
*
Yes to both questions. I raised a ticket to TSG and received the form via email. Replied the email with the filled form and ID. Then sent the same files to IBKR to the email address stated in the form. Now I'm just waiting. If I'm not mistaken and I didn't look into it much, account de-linking takes place on Fridays 2pm EST.

Thanks for the explanation.

One more question, did you fill up the form by hands ? or just edit the form online ?
*
Handwritten everything. Was lazy to edit it. Plus, this is what TSG told me: You will need to fill the attached form, sign it physically, re-scan it and send it back to us with a copy of your ID.

If all my information is in order then my account should be de-linked from TSG after 2am tomorrow.

How to verify that TSG has been delinked?
*
I'm not sure yet. But if you check your Activity Statement the Master Name under Account Information is TradeStation International Ltd. So maybe I will see if there is any difference tomorrow.

For TSG it will be Tradestation International Ltd

When did you call them? Was it during their working hours? Thanks.

Anyone sent more than 10k to their MY Account from CIMB SG through Wise?
I saw this in Wise: Non-residents with bank accounts in Malaysia can only receive 10,000 Malaysian Ringgit per day. Please don't send them more than this limit, otherwise their bank might close their account. Luckily CIMB SG > CIMB MY directly rates are better for now.

Yes, SMS Authentication doesn't work at times on the weekends. Most probably due to maintenance. Use IB Keys instead.

Is it safe now to use Wise's MultiCurrency Account to deposit to/ withdraw from IBKR?

what do you mean by "safe" / "unsafe" ?
*
IBKR doesn't really allow deposits from accounts not under our own name (3rd Party Transfer) even though some non-USD deposits directly from Wise worked without any issues from them.

It might be worth it to verify if your received dividends from BIL has WHT witheld, because AFAIK WHT is not applicable to fixed income assets. https://www.bankeronwheels.com/how-to-reduc...ithholding-tax/

I think it will get deducted and refunded later. My US Treasuries Dividend got deducted (30% WHT) and I got it back later.
