Applepay refused

Today, I was shocked when I tried to use applepay at Marks and Spencer. They told me they accept samsung only. I have been using applepay at m&s many times in the past, and couldn't believe what i heard. I insisted that applepay works and tapped and the transaction went thru fine. The cashier was upset and said it is the management's decision to reject applepay.
Anyone encountered similar problem before? Is apple charging the merchants higher fees? What could be the reason?

think because applepay is not officially offered here. they arent trained for it.

usually this also happened with samsung phone, just they dont know what you are using, so they going to refuse.
just inform them using paywave.

May I know how you add the ccard into your Apple Wallet? I too have a Spore ccard but don't see the + sign anywhere. My Itunes of course is Malaysia. Thanks. |
