 Unifi start barring line after 4 days past due?

Hi guys, just want to know if this is TM's new policy now? My unifi line was due on 22 Sept and TM barred my line on 27 Sept ( 4 days past due). They charge RM10 for reconnection which will appear in my next bill. I dont have any previous outstanding bill for Unifi. Just the current Sept bill. If this is so then Unifi have became worst than a prepaid line because you don't get charged to reactivate your line when you next top up.

While I do agree that its their right to bar outstanding lines, they should have better inform customers beforehand through the mainstream news before its implemented.

i think it is norm for Unifi to bar line once due date.

Did you know TIME Fibre new registration now allow their new users to sign up without contract?
But in order to get their line without contract, you will have to pay RM400 upfront deposit

TM is unpredictable. I think they do this to scare customer so you'll pay on time next month. I kena before, once & only once, bar 1-day after due date. This month 3 weeks already they still haven't bar yet. Already got that email.

Lol....u really suey like that, my streamyx era, those 1515 what not, cannot remember lah, charge by usage one, not unlimited like now.

Line kena hack, someone use until few thousands, complain numerous time, no action, finally, don't care, don't pay, but continue use. Received threatening call, legal letter, etc....ignore jer

pernah sekali berlaku. rujuk pada tm dan dapati 3 bulan bill tak dibayar justeru itu disekat perkhidmatan.. rupanya ada masalah autopay cc (sewaktu penggunaan pin mandatori untuk urusan cc bermula dan diakui oleh staff bank cc saya semasa diminta penjelasan). kenapa lepas 3 bulan baru sekat? ini kerana tunggakkan telah melebihi CREDIT LIMIT.. credit limit saya rm600.. bil dlm 600 lebih sikit.. tapi untuk penyambungan semula kena byr semua baki tertunggak itu.

Thank you all for your comments even though its to criticize me & calling me to grow up. I just want to know if everyone is getting the same thing or am I just being unlucky to be caught by their efficiency after all this is the first time experiencing this with Unifi. I totally agree that its their right to bar my line & to charge me a reconnection fee since its in their contract which i didn't bother to read the endless tiny fine prints at the time of sign up because I didnt bring the reading glasses. Of cause young guys like some of you who is signing up for basic utility is a big thing & will read through every word on the contract in under 5 mins. But imagine if the same type of policy is practiced by the banks. Whenever you're few days late to repay your housing loan, they seal your house and you have to pay a fee plus outstanding amount to get back in. The same with your car. Remember, I'm not talking about months or years of outstanding loan but just a few days. I'm sure this doesnt change your life since, everyone here pays on time month after month and year after year accept me of cause. Btw, I'm not looking for sympathy as some of you commented. I'm just highlighting my encounter to those who are sometimes forgetful like me, or for those who consider utility bill as the lease important in their lives or to those who are struggling to make ends meet with delayed income thinking which bill to pay first. To those perfect paymaster, just ignore my post. Sorry, that a post like this is considered useless to you but to others its something new to take note of.

Be careful with unifi.. they are trying to find way to earn extra rm 10 reconnection fee. on barring each acc who pay late.. so that would be huge sum for monthly if add up all those acc bar..it happen to me .. I pay my bill late too for a few day but I kena bar the next day after my payment.. lucky I didn’t delete all those sms I received ask me pay up today if not will kena bar. Which I did. But still I kena barred the next day..I already complain them few time first they insist I pay late.. then I say unifi sms or email that I received got say pay today or kena bar is rubbish ? Can ignore? After few argument they admit is their fault. Now case to upper level of mgmt. I still wait for black white letter for apologise, compensation and action from the staff who barred my line.. I even print screen all the prove.. so unifi user please watch out..
