What about timers? Just like how users must wait for a specific amount of time before posting his/her 2nd post.

I suggest for BUMPs in Garage Sales we implement a 60 secs rule. That way:
- the seller/buyer will need to prioritize his/her thread (for BUMPs) and at the same time,
- it'll help control them creating multiple threads (might as well cramp relevant things inside one single thread instead of creating multiple unnecessary threads cuz they can only BUMP one thread per minute).

Pardon my broken English. notworthy.gif

But in the end, its still remain the same. Single seller with multiple threads.

I don't think so because judging by the high activity in Garage Sales section, it gives other people a chance to BUMP within the 1 minute break.

As you can see, alexchin BUMP-ed 10 threads in less than 2 minutes. If the 1-minute break rule is enforced, it'll get him AT LEAST 10-11 minutes to BUMP 10 threads. And judging by the activity in Garage Sales section, it can do good for other sellers with one/two threads only.

Perhaps the outcome will be like this:

alexchin
aaa
bbb
ccc
alexchin
ddd
eee
fff
ggg
hhh
iii
alexchin
jjj

Hence, a wise way for alexchin to get them all up is to merge relevant products into as less threads as possible.

Hmm, might work, might not work. Just a suggestion. Comments, please?
