Using shoei airblade 2.. cheek pads are snug and will go numb after 30 minutes... but my friend told me is normal.. is this true .. size is biggest d..

I don't think that's normal

some cheekpads have peelable layers to reduce thickness
some helmets can be accessorize with thinner cheekpads

another reason could be the helmet is to low, check that you have about 1 finger width of space between eyebrow to top of visor window, by pushing the chin bar upwards to roll the helmet back, see if this improves the comfort

Setting it higher as recommended helped little... but changes the angle for the glasses channel... maybe I just use contacts for the time being

oh, it's a touring helmet? with spectacle grooves at the side?
maybe check online for cheekpad photos, after removing the fabric
some have peelable sponge to reduce thickness
