Cheek pads for helmets, Necessary or not?

Without the cheek pad your helmet is gonna be too loose and there will be nothing to prevent your teeth from smashing into your chin bar. a full face helmet is not considered fitted unless the cheek pad is pressed against the cheeks...
don't buy a full face helmet only to use it like a 3/4 face |
