Finally... I can post some pictures in this thread now after I only posted once which are my Corsair Flash Voyager GT and Flash Voyager flash drive which are 4GB each, oowwwhhhh... that was long ago laugh.gif.

Anyway, received two parcels recently which are parts for my major rig revamp:

The parcels...

Inside are the DFI LanParty DK P35-T2RS & Intel C2Q6600... tongue.gif

In windwithme's review did mentioned that there are three version of this motherboard... and I bought the Full Solid Capacitors version smile.gif.

Now I know how they differentiate it than opening the box... tongue.gif

Well... still awaiting for the 4GB ram kit and probably getting the Xigmatek-S1283 with Tuniq TX-2 to cool up the processor. The headache part is the graphic card which I'm opting to get either HIS IceQ3 Turbo Edition or IceQ3 Normal Edition of HD3870... so far no luck at all sweat.gif.

Or else by any chance of the Sapphire Atomic HD3870? unsure.gif

nice mobo there, almost rush to get it if only i have 2 pci-e slot..........

waiting for your overclocking result from this baby
*
I wouldn't do too extreme overclocking as I'm still a newbie with overclocking stuff smile.gif. However, did plan to run it at 3.6GHz since many did so to their ones tongue.gif.

Hmm... you mean 2 PCIe slots for CF? unsure.gif I'll run a single-card, so doesn't really bother if the board doesn't come with CF option smile.gif.

Yeah, I used 3310 for a couple of years also before I switch to better model. To remind myself, I think I had used 3 different 3310 during that time tongue.gif. Thanks regarding the board and yeah, you're absolutely right than I'm being a DFI fans tongue.gif.

Run the quad at stock and OC slowly lo...No harm mah..
Some people if have cash for high end board, reasonable or not reasonable its their choice..due to their liking...
*
Yeah, definitely will run at stock at the beginning and slowly take time into OCing it smile.gif.

DFI just my preference, doesn't matter I'm loaded or what... to be honest, I already overspent for the motherboard. What to do... I just love it tongue.gif

AC Accelero S1: 36c- 51c .... icon_idea.gif

You didn't post your link properly... unsure.gif

Wow ~ pretty nice temperature you got there with the S1 smile.gif. However, I rather get HIS HD3870 Normal Edition and then dump the reference HSF for the S1 than getting the IceQ3 version sweat.gif.

QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Jan 8 2008, 08:32 PM)
LOL, i'm thinking the opposite  tongue.gif
it's the coolest cooler i've seen.
tell me a better one... rolleyes.gif
edit: i guess most of the people buy this HIS iceq3 are for its nice looking cooler.
if you want to change to 3rd party cooler, just go and grab any brand with ref cooler, it's rm200 cheaper. wink.gif
*
Yeah, and FYI, IceQ3 designed by Artic Cooling as well thumbup.gif.

Beside HIS, Gecube also make decent Ati card smile.gif. Usually these two manufacturer will tops for Ati's cards.

sukhoi37, I had the same thinking with ya. I rather buy the HIS HD3870 Normal Edition and then change to S1 sweat.gif. He just wasted the extra grant for the IceQ3, unless if the case it is IceQ3 Turbo Edition then different point we got there.

QUOTE(Doom @ Jan 8 2008, 08:41 PM)
I got no choice here .. if not I'd also obtain a cheaper edition card ...

since most of it are reference card ....
*
Isn't you're buying the reference card with 3rd party cooler only? sweat.gif

I heard from someone that he has mentioned CM Gemini II wouldn't be any great on dual-cores, however the performance boost a lot on quad-cores according to him. Couldn't recall who was that, Irenic if I'm not mistaken... Hyde`fK is running on quad, he can tell us the performance BTW smile.gif

vearn, where did you get those ram's and how much?

i feel regretted getting the ocz reaper heat pipe sad.gif
*
I bought it from Karom at RM450. Initially I planned to get that OCZ Reaper Heat Pipe or even ReaperX, but then afraid the heat fins will be blocking my gfx installation or inconvenience, thus I picked the Titanium with normal XTC heatspreader instead. If I really need xxxxxtra cooling, I can contact allngap anytime tongue.gif.

Anyway, how come you regret with your RAM? unsure.gif

@ vearn27
Nice sexay rams u have there bro...whens your pc going to be assembled?
*
I'm not sure regarding the OCZ Reaper HPC, but someone I know with OCZ ReaperX do encounter problem with the heat fins blocking his graphic card on the motherboard. It is just a few bucks upgrade thou from my model to the OCZ Reaper HPC, but in the end also I'm still preferring the standard XTC design tongue.gif.

Bigblock, I'm still awaiting for the last part which is the HIS HD3870 IceQ3 Edition before starting assembling my new rig up smile.gif.
