QUOTE(sniper69 @ Dec 20 2007, 05:09 PM) it's Micron D9, but not sure which one LOL..Black heatspreader. Thats one of the good points. I was about to purchase that as well but the LEDs and supposingly, hotter made me drop my plans..LOL..of course, i hate it but considering it black heatspreader not to mention got a very good offer... then, why not... Any OC benchmark? QUOTE(Hyde`fK @ Dec 20 2007, 06:34 PM) Crucial Ballistix Tracer might not use Micron D9, can ask AceCombat about it. My previous sticks might not be Micron D9 as well cause it sucks in OC. Well, you are right about AceCombat's Tracers but i thought that was still D9? I mean, a few of the chips are not GMH but still its D9 right?GKX i think? And does this ONLY applies on the Tracers or all of the Ballistix range? |

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Dec 20 2007, 08:06 PM) funny thing is, a lot of people told me all Ballistix and Tracer uses D9 chip Well, AceCombat previously opened up the heatspeader of his tracer and saw that not all the chips are D9GMH. All of the chips ARE STILL D9s but not the GMH. I think some of them are the GKX. I think that is the problem for the Ballistix. Not sure its error in production or they do it on purpose but still, thats a worrying site. tried google, and here's what i found... i can say mine is using D9-GMH why? mine is BL2KIT12864AL663, while the other similar Product Number is BL2KIT12864AA663, the difference is... all AL is Tracer while AA is normal Ballistix, plus... i searched all of them using same timing on paper 3-3-3-12 @2.2V... well sorry for any misunderstanding, i just wanted know about my chipset only... will update if got any new findings... |

Zakumo, really nice keyboard there. Aiming for that in the near future. One thing that is dropping me off, its kinda rubberized and i am having small trouble with the rubber on their (Razer) mouse. They seem like "peeling off" at any time..LOL..Wonder there is same problem with their keyboard...
