wanna blow my car down.. haha biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

bcz i'm moving all de amps to the back.. so thought that 1 time change lorhh.. so next time can go for future upgrade.. maybe 1000 rms amp leh.. who knows.. tongue.gif

the size is somewhere thinner than 20cents coin

I also plan to change 8 gauge power cable to better one...and speaker cable also want change a better one... brows.gif

The gauge cable depend what the amp using?
or depend the ampere rate on the amp?

You are right.. But, I see 0 gauge power cable before.. I only seen once in Pimp My Ride.. Haha.. So thick.

Change to 4 gauge power cable mah.. Or now you using 10 gauge? Speaker cable I using platinum cable now. Hehe..

The gauge cable depend how many RMS amplifier you using.. The higher RMS amp, the thickest power cable you need to use. If you use 1000RMS amplifier, then using 10 gauge power cable mai die lor. Sure the 10 gauge power cable cannot stand.

those decent amps.. can support upto 4 gauge nowadayz...

the 0 gauge cable tat i need is actually to pull the power from the batt to the back and distribute the power into 4 gauge power cable..

batt ==0 guage==> distribution block ==4gauge==> amps

hope u get wat i mean.. hehe.. not directly into amp..

loon: don waste money on the 8 gauge n above setup.. juz go wif 4 gauge.. it's good enuff for any further future setup...

o u can try this setup:-

batt ==4gauge==> distribution block ==8 gauge==> amps
u can save more wif this setup n the results will b happy.. tongue.gif

well... my experience... it depends on the altenatore output ampere you hav... if your alternator is not capable of burning a 4gauges cable... then why use a 0gauges? and yes it also depends on the total rms wattage you hav... but if your altenator couldnt produce enough power for tht rms rating you wont reeach tht figure also... so... calculate using the table from IASCA is the safest choice...

it depends on the lenght also... if lesser than 2m from the distribution block then no point using 4g... 8g normally is enough...

cheers...

mostly... 4g is enough for most feng tao and SQ application... very rare and i mean very rare case tht you will need 0g... unless you are going for real idb drag...
