A Total War Saga: TROY is the first in the award-winning strategy series to focus on the Bronze-Age Mediterranean and the legendary twenty-year conflict between the kingdoms of Troy and Mycenaean Greece, known as the Trojan War.
Game looks amazing to be honest. Big fan of the the new mechanics even though it annoys the hell out of me. Gotta plot my conquests based on resource requirements rather than doomstacking everything. Had to park a defensive army at home for the first time because my food city kept getting taken and fucking me over. Also no trading agreements, gotta barter like stone age savages

I hope they reduce the food costs of having additional generals. Right now it's fucking ridiculous because 2 armies on like 20 cities isn't sustainable on multiple maxed out food cities. The moment I increase it to 3 it goes deep negative and I have to barter for food from my allies just to keep my armies going. The AI keeps guerilla hitting my back lines and it's annoying af because I can't afford to defend and attack at the same time with 2 stacks and defense isn't really feasible for whatever reason. Even though I have tier 2 units vs the tier 1 spam (i.e. militia) and equivalent, it says I have no chance of winning autoresolve and I can't really be arsed to play every minor battle just to win. The game is amazing right now in terms of performance but it could really use some gameplay optimization.
