to ride on this thread, i am planning to get one too. but any one knows if there is a lowering kit for Z650? the seat is kind of high for me.

ok.. finally bought the bike, but the next day announce movement control..zzzz so cant get the bike yet..
just wanna ask, is z650 is high in thief list? i am living in condo, but the kind with shop lots at ground floor, so anyone walk into car park.

ic.. that is the only thing? or there are other stuff i need to take care as well?

btw, what to look if bike cannot start? stand is up, battery looks good, but cant start.
the sound like car no battery sound when trying to start it. measure the battery voltage it is ok.

The battery is new though, sticker label is 2020 February.

when turn the key to on position, is there normally a sound?
like i heard that in my car when switching on.
but not really pay attention to the sound on the bike before.

contacted the shop, says only can come after raya.. no riding on long holiday..

1. Light on, Speedo load normally. Not sure about fuel pump sound, but there are sound when i switch the key to on. the switch definately in on position.

2. it is ©. but not a real engine crank sound, more like some electronic sound, them speedometer restarts.

btw, do anyone can introduce/recommend good bike workshop in penang?
the place i bought my bike is too faaaaar away...
my bike is up for tyre and engine oil change.

both also ok.. penang is small...
i checked with taycon before, the price is on the high side, but service not so sure, never go there do anything yet.

same company diff price 1 ah? i can go try again...

I chose Z650 mainly because of the seat height, so i can ride in city with better confidence, and it is my first bike too.
The height is more or less same like CB500F, but since both of them around the same price range, i took higher CC bike. The shop that i bought my bike, Z650 is cheaper than CB500F

Riding experience so far so good, been to a few longer trip, quite enjoyable. Riding in city also ok, smooth ride, but cant squeeze in between car like a kapcai anymore.
Not very torque-ky, so it is easy to handle. i think it is a good buy.

i would say all 3 bike in your list is all good first bike to start, if you have the budget and want nice exhaust sound can try consider CB650R, exhaust sound is a lot better cause of 4 cylinder, but price is a step up.

so in the end i go to el chong to change, bought michelin road5, rm550, cheapest i can find. but i also change other stuff la, so many there is some extra discount i think
