How? Please elaborate

If anyone doing autofoam can show me that foaming the chassis can reduce noise, using decibel meter, I will believe

Realised that no proof has been shared?

Those soundproofing mats do work to a certain extend, but foaming chassis is a joke for sound proofing.

true and i agree.

I would like to see proof that it can reduce noise with and without mats install so that some of us can know the difference. Because autofoam always tell people to combo with the mats and i find it fishy

I think you would've survived even without the foam. But you can believe however you want. Most cars have soft fronts for pedestrians and strong, A,B and C pillars acting as roll cages.

Glad that you are ok though

Have a look at the crash test above, no foaming, front is entirely crumpled. But the A pillar is still holding strong.

Sorry, was thinking about soundproofing and come upon here. I did Autofoam 10 years back on my Camry. Result, I really like it though it's kind of expensive. The car handle better and noise reduced slightly. During the time I owe the car, so many friends commented why my car is different. I did not do any other upgrade except the AUtofoam. If you are keeping the car more than 10 years and it's a Japanese car, then I highly recomend it. Not sure about continental cause continental car normally has very good handling and soundproofing. I just got a continental car and the tyre noise is high thus looking to soundproof the tyre part. Any recomendation?

I'm thinking to give Car Comfort Shop (CCS) a try after comparing with quotes from Soundstream and CCS. Will report back once it's done.
