hi all livina lovers,

my car 10 yrs old.... misfire.

already change plug, plug coil and air flow censor.... but still has misfire.

any idea?

Did u reset the ECU? Unplug battery for 5 mins?

Which port misfire? You sure the coil you replace is the correct one? Is it original?

changed 4 plugs and 4 plug coils. still no luck.

Some cars will let you know which port misfire during ECU scan. Not sure about yours. In my experience, it might be faulty coil. Did you used the genuine one? What did your foreman said?

yes its ori....... the scan shows all ok. changed back to old one... no luck... changed back new set.. no luck too. changed air flow censor... no luck as well. foreman also not sure... tommorow followup with him again.

clean fuel... the round one near the tank... dont know the name of it. trotal body has been clean as well.

im blur now.... already spend 1500... dont know how much going to cost me tommorow.

Hmm. So the scan turns out fine? No check engine light whatsoever after the repair? How about the time when u sent it in? Did it show any light?

no indicator light before or after...all ok... but still misfire.

Misfire when u drive? Like car jerking when driving normally?

yes, but during drive slow only. high speed no issue or i dont feel it.

Hmm. Could It have something to do with the wiring? I'm not sure though. Had 1 similar case with Myvi before. It turned out that there was a bad wiring issue. But it was an old car, so I wouldn't bet yours is the same. There are too many probable causes. Fuel pumps etc etc. It would be the best to let your foreman diagnose it. But please do update for the result.

so is it really misfire? should not vary with speed right?
at neutral, just rev the engine and you should see misfire or not.
