From what I know he had a Street Triple 675R ... and sold his bike already..

I rode with him before, quite a nippy inline 3... and good brakes, just maybe the ABS came late as I seen him emergency brake tayar skidded a bit before the ABS stabililzed the brake...

Brake is a common thing to be stolen. Just need to park at the right place and do anything you can to reduce the risk

Triumph very liberal when it comes to Test Ride.. in fact most of Continental now even Harley,.. you can just walk in and deman for a test ride....

Why Jepunis/Chinis bike brand not follow the trend?

for this Triumph motor is it necessary to be service / repair at the authorised dealer?
are the normal big bike workshop able to service or repair it?
how's the maintenance cost between an European and Japanese motor like?

Not necessary but if you want a peace of mind, then just send it to repair at Triumph authorised dealer (Fastbike PJ for me)

Maintenance for semi: RM4xx, for full: RM5xx. Then will incur additional costings if your bike got more issue or needed replacement.
