Hmmm guys, i solve the problem.....its something link to ur USB to Handphone cable
i dunno whether some of u out there hav tis problem o not lo. JUs now i try plug the USB cable then switch to phone mode and try dial, the earpiece has back alive!    So i guess maybe the plug makes the earpiece got problem..lolz not sure, still finding the problem

apparently this keypad issue with affect a lot of the potential buyers..

but like i mentioned..just dont use fingernails or keep pressing the sides of the keypad..then it should be fine..

i i think its save for those with bigger thumbs.. bcos u will be pressing the WHOLE button..and the force is applied evenly..then cracking mmight not happen.

Not that good. after a week and a half, the number 4, 6 and # cracked.
If all of the keypad crack, it'll be kinda cool, u know.

The next time I go to the service center, I'll try and ask them for the gold S500 keypad.

AP cant claim warranty for the keypad crack. unless SE recall back all their S500 then both ori set and AP sets are allowed to send back to replace the keypad for free..

Just wanna inform u guys. My new keypad which was just replaced by Sony Ericsson seems to be just fine and much sturdier than before.
It doesn't bend that much.

i have 2 friend bought this phone. One of my friend last weak bring back to the seller about the crackling of the keypad. the seller said the keypad will still break again even after changing new one.my friend told me if you put a little too much pressure when sms-ing will straight away break.I will upload a photo to let u guys see the crackling condition.
