if x1 is available in your price point, the only good it has is its bmw marque, a german luxury brand,
when compared to cx5, it still lacks in most other aspects,
but mazda itself is an upcoming luxury brand as well, cx5 excels impressively as an suv

so cx5 turbo it is...

When I was shopping for a family SUV for the wifey,

We went thru GLC, CX5, CRV, X1/X3, XC60...

Frankly the X1 was rated at the bottom of the list... so far down there it didnt even justify a serious test drive....

But ofcourse every buyer have their own set of criteria

i concur if you placed it bottom of your list, all other candidates are attractive in features

of course in this thread, buyer's criteria is x1 pre reg price, right between cx5 turbo and harrier turbo

You mean the "New" X1 right...

Anyway for me, despite having a say 300k budget, if I can get a car which fulfill my requirement and I'm happy with, for much lesser price.. I wont say no. There is always other ways to spend good money..

Because when people ask what you drive, you say BMW.

Win++++++

When you’re fetching the girl you’re after for lunch, her colleague will say waaa the BMW is here again. Mazda? Nobody cares.

Paiseh..I noob in car. So if I buy cx5 and pump Ron 100, can the car produce 300 bhp? How about the torque? Can reach 500 or not?

Get the CX5T, with 230hp/420nm, you get good performance while the X1 just gives you the badge and bills. 😀

You need to retune and increase the boost to take advantage of the higher Ron, then you'll get more power. If just pump without retuning, you'll get a bit of improvement but maybe only like 5-10hp more at best
