I've been recently diagnosed with mild adult ADHD. But I know for a fact that I've been suffering from it since secondary school. Come share your ADHD stories e.g like how you forgot to let your clients sign an important piece of document even after a thorough double checking and triple checking. Don't be shy. 1. Difficulty focusing on the task at hand.
2. Easily agitated by small things 3. Short temper 4. Can't sit still. 5. Gets bored easily 6. Scatter brain 7. Easily forgetful 8. Easily distracted 9. Impatience 10. Mouth faster than brain etc etc etc. Usually ADHD is diagnosed during childhood. But sometimes symptoms may appear to be normal to kids, thus left untreated. Which explains my hyperactivity as a kid. However, there is no single coherent method of diagnosing ADHD. It's all questionnaires and stuff like that. The usual prescription is Ritalin, which is the first line of attack. Coping mechanisms ultimately saves the day. This post has been edited by m_man: Sep 12 2019, 12:00 AM |
