You should use H310C or B365 but not this H310.

Next time be more smart while working.

Just move on to Windows 10 - Windows 7 is ending support in about 4 months or so and even if you do a lot of drivers will not work or have partial functionality.  Not to mention you also won't get any security updates which means you'll end up with a very insecure system icon_idea.gif

i don't need security updates not imported for me

Which version of Office?  If it's the very old version of Office (prior to 2007) then it might be a good time to migrate icon_idea.gif

What programs?  I highly doubt the programs won't work on Windows 10 due to the fact that Windows 10 shares a lot of components with 7 (i.e. if a program supports 7 then it should work very well on 10) icon_idea.gif

Also consider running a virtual machine if you can icon_idea.gif

The board does support Win 7 - but it won't get any security updates and you also need a discrete graphics card as Intel does not release graphics drivers for Win 7:

we don't need security updates

So it's custom tailor-made software?  hmm.gif

Ah I see then, but not having security updates is certainly not a good thing unless you do not connect the machine to the Internet  icon_idea.gif

If that's the case - just download the SATA drivers off from ASUS's website and put it in a USB stick, then when prompted by the installer, just remove the Windows installation USB/CD and insert the USB stick containing the driver files, then browse the installer to the directory icon_idea.gif

that method i think wont work

my office will be connected machine to the Internet

my office few computer windows 7 motherboard is H97M-E always works windows 7

now days unable to get H97M-E can't find new set tooo

waste

that few pc never security updates = never trouble and we don't care security updates

Official ASUS spec for your mobo supported for W10 only. I wonder you didnt check spec before purchase?

Have you try run your accounting software compatibility mode on W10?

Another way, you may try change SATA Mode selection on BIOS > change to IDE > save > restart. See whether drive able to load during OS installation.

Really? You got try it or not before make this conclusion. Company hire you is a big mistake.
Get i3-9100F pair with cheapo 710GT card settled all the problem. Real world shop floor no need connect to outside and a lot still running win 9X and XP in their shop floor.

Did you download the SATA drivers and put it in a USB drive?  Most likely the Windows installer is asking for that icon_idea.gif

Ah, I just realized you might be putting your win 7 install usb thumb drive into usb 3.0 port, this will cause such problem, as win 7 has no support for usb 3. Read this :

https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/how-to...dows-7-install/

You need to put it to usb 2.0 port or try the solution 1,2 or 3.

Alternatively, you may want to download the usb 3 driver, unzip it, and then load the usb 3 driver during install.

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-H31...pDesk_Download/

By the way, your windows 7 is it 32bit or 64bit ?

must be 64bit
