Too silent over here, seems bad for apple this year.
*
yeah. indeed. 😜 Super Super Super Solent. Totally zero hype.

but surprisingly, this year iPhone looks quite attractive still to me. the new green Color on iphone 11 pro looks quite premium in look.

telco might come out pre order next week i guess biggrin.gif
low sales... from X 5199 til Xs 4999 til 11 Pro 4899
*
that’s the trend for IT products, only items will drop price over time instead of appreciation in price like housing etc.

I think the good ol days for flipping iphone are gone. Even genuine buyers are backing off by enormous pricing nowadays.
I think i didnt hear anything about dual / esim announcement just now. Is it all standard in all countries or china still getting dual sim? Also never mention first wave country ?
*
Yeah. Never mention all these. Should still be the same.

Bolehland is only 7 days later than first wave.

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Sep 11 2019, 03:29 AM)
Sorry but where does it say that we can order on 27th September?
*
Apple bolehland homepage.

QUOTE(kevink82 @ Sep 11 2019, 03:31 AM)
Disappointed they still having 64gb...
*
They force you to go for Goldilocks choice of 256gb.

Too old to stay up for iPhone announcements these days. Sleep is more important, haha. Anyway, as we deducted from the past, can't gauge response from LYN forums alone, but then again, seeing how expensive iPhones are and how cautious everyone is on spending these days, I won't be surprised if response is poor smile.gif
Yeah, that would be my main gripe with the Pro models - no 128GB option.
Seeing how soon we're getting this in Malaysia, there really isn't much opportunity for them to scalp at all laugh.gif
Singapore still hasn't implemented eSim?
*
Lion city only m1 has esim for iPhones. The rest of telcos even SingTel and StarHub have no esim yet.

Are you upgrading this round bro?

Midnight green for me!
*
Mid-nite green seems to look nice on iPhone 11 pro. The iPhone 11 colours as usual look very pale. This time is even more pale on picture. Not sure if real one will look the same. The mid-nite green looks a big line emerald colour. if it is, should be nice for the real one.

Not upgrading this round. 😜 still will stick to my iPhone c and iPhone 6 Plus for this year.

Either one , celcom or maxis has eSim then got extra nano for Starhub as well
*
I see. If yes, it will be good. Haha. very embarrassing for SingTel for not having it yet.

Keep my IPhone XS Max lo. Since it's discontinued, it's limited edition right now.  tongue.gif
Dikae

With this lukewarm response, and trade war going on btw China and US and mediocre improvements on the XI, XI Pro, this is not going to be a good year for Apple.
*
Yeah. Same like my iPhone X. Limited edition also. Haha.

This year sale will not be good. but good move for them not to keep Xs else the sale will be even poorer.

It already is going badly for them, that's why we must do what we can to help, hahaha. My wife is still using my dual SIM XS Max too. Will most likely keep it - unless she wants to upgrade!
I'm renewing my maxis contract this year bro, so yeah, I'm buying smile.gif
In actual fact, they never did discontinue the X due to the poor sales of the XS. Retailers still selling them a year on even after Apple's website discontinued listing it, hehe. But it was the phone that represented a design leap for Apple, so keeping it makes sense.
*
Yeah. Indeed. Retailer still may be selling it. But think the stock will be limited.

iPhone X is actually a good phone. A iPhone that has the wow factor that time due to its overhauled design.

To keep the IPhone brand name afloat, I would suggest Apple do pre order launches with gifts and discounts like what Samsung does with their Galaxy line up. For such exorbitantly priced iphones, the profit margins are tremendous. Come on Apple, don't be greedy.
*
Apple will not do it.

Android phones even flagship one the day you bought it the price will be dropped a lot already if resell. At least iPhones the second hand value are still better than them.

QUOTE(dikae @ Sep 11 2019, 08:25 AM)
Hahaha it’s kinda sad to see how the hype on the new iphone launch going downhill..

Definitely skipping this thing and am glad my Xs Max is at 99% batt life, time to downgrade my maxis plan...keeping the contract for next year’s iphone 12..it’s a win win haha
Not sure if ‘nice’ is the right word to use for the new iphone 11’s tongue.gif
*
Hahaha. No significant change. Color will make the trick also.

This is actually similar to iPhone 7. Just camera changed and fancy Color that time the jet black Color.

QUOTE(Benefon @ Sep 11 2019, 08:32 AM)
Actually I need dual Sim card
*
Yeah. Same. If dual Sim I can have one phone less to bring. Too bad that SingTel and StarHub are not having it even now. What a shame. I am switching to Starhub Sim-only this year from SingTel in early November once my contract is over.

QUOTE(adriankan @ Sep 11 2019, 08:38 AM)
iPhone 8 at USD450 and last year XR at USD599 will be very compelling choices now. Basically it will be 1999 and 2499 here
*
Normally not direct conversion but higher a bit.

QUOTE(attw @ Sep 11 2019, 08:41 AM)
But it’s not. It’s RM2199 and RM2899 respectively.
*
Yeah.

Fk them and their ridiculous conversion rate 2199 means their rate is usd1=rm4.8, ip6 and before they usually stick true or close to actual conversion rate
*
Dun forget the trade war happened in US now. they need to balance the cost. Haha.
