QUOTE(Melon @ Sep 30 2019, 10:25 AM) QUOTE(shockk @ Sep 30 2019, 11:00 AM) QUOTE(fox_shinoda @ Sep 30 2019, 11:41 AM) I have Samsung Smart tv 6 series, you can't exactly mirror your iPhone screen but certain apps, media can be played back through the Samsung Smart View app. Actually smart TVs can now support AirPlay 2 (list of compatible models), so any Apple device can wirelessly share media to it. Appears in the control center / player UI like AirPods do)QUOTE(Criollo @ Oct 1 2019, 02:14 PM) Hey guys, might be a bit out of topic here. But i went to Maxis to change to esim out of curiosity, but the CS told me that if I change to esim Based on what I know of my friend using Xs Max with Maxis eSIM, (2) is definitely incorrect. The only difference is that the subscriber information (like phone number and EID number) is stored digitally in the eSIM chip module and can be removed/rewritten vs static in physical SIM. All the standard software controls (eg. data switch in Settings, phone call services) work the same way in iOS.1) My data must be on 24/7 2) If my data not switched on I cannot receive calls 3) If i switch on data but connect to wifi I also cannot receive calls True ker? o_O? Where I think the CS got confused is on point (1), an iPhone with eSIM activated will always be connected to the Internet when powered on because there is no physical SIM to remove. So technically it's better for security/anti-theft (assuming mobile data is switched on in Settings). Point (3) is correct because only Digi/Umobile users can make and receive calls over Wi-Fi even when cell service is unavailable. Maxis lacks support for VoWiFi and VoLTE. speaking of network bands; this year our model is the luckiest in terms of roaming. most bands in an iPhone, ever. (30!) maybe even other smartphones also:
interestingly, this year the only difference between our local model vs Japan (traditionally the king of bands) is just cdma vs gsm, and ability to silence camera sound |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 7 2019, 05:17 PM) It's Rm1149. I wouldn't worry, personally. If the 5s (released 2012) can get updated all the way to 12.4.2 in 2019, then the 6s/SE (released 2016) will probably end up on iOS 16 in 2022 before it's considered EOL.This post has been edited by KaiHD: Oct 7 2019, 05:26 PM |
