I think the good ol days for flipping iphone are gone. Even genuine buyers are backing off by enormous pricing nowadays.
I think i didnt hear anything about dual / esim announcement just now. Is it all standard in all countries or china still getting dual sim? Also never mention first wave country ? |

I think this year's iphone pro lineup is just focused towards more photography than any other fancy features: the image processing and night mode might be a good sell for night photographers.

It's official now...
Apple has announced three new iPhone models; iPhone 11 with 6.1in display and dual rear camera setup, iPhone 11 Pro with 5.8in display and iPhone 11 Pro Max with 6.5in display, both featuring a triple rear camera setup. The iPhone 11 which runs on iOS 13 has a liquid retina HD display with features like an A13 bionic chip, 4K video recording, IP68 water resistance and Face ID, with Apple claiming that it can "last up to one hour longer than iPhone XR" in terms of battery performance. It has two 12-megapixel camera sensors for ultra-wide shots with 120° field of view and wide shots. There is also a 12-megapixel front camera with features like portrait mode and Depth Control. The iPhone 11 is priced at RM3,399 for the model with 64GB internal storage, RM3,599 for the 128GB model and RM4,099 for the 256GB model. The device will be available in six colour options namely White, Black, Green, Yellow, Purple and (Product) Red. Both the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max models have Super Retina XDR Display, A13 bionic chip, IP68 water resistance and are compatible with Qi-wireless chargers. The models also feature the iPhone's first rear triple-camera setup with 12-megapixel sensors for ultra-wide with 120° field of view, wide and telephoto shots. Other camera features include Night Mode and Portrait Mode. For selfies, there is a 12-megapixel camera. Apple claims that the iPhone 11 Pro can "last up to four hours longer than iPhone XS" while the Max Pro model can "last up to five hours longer than iPhone Xs Max" in terms of battery performances. Pricing for the iPhone 11 Pro starts at RM4,899 for the model with 64GB internal storage, RM5,599 for the 256GB model and RM6,499 for the 512GB model. For the iPhone 11 Pro Max model, the price starts at RM5,299 for the 64GB model, RM5,999 for the 256Gb model and RM6,899 for 512GB. The Iphone XI Pro Max 256 GB which is equivalent to the Iphone Xs Max is Rm5999. Meaning this is cheaper by Rm300 as the IPhone Xs Max was Rm6299. Apple actually reduced prices.

One buy the ip11pro solely for the additional lens. If don’t need the extra lens and I don’t see why need to buy it. Ip11 max pro is slightly thicker and heavier than xs max.

Still no USB C port for iPhone... was hoping they will switch to that after giving the Pro the C. At least less 1 extra cable to carry around...
I'll pass, my X is still serving me well although my screen has prominent scratches now Anyone knows what is the current price to replace the X screen? |

This is the first year we know about the availability dates and the pricing after the official keynote. We are also getting it just a week after USA. I feel damn pleased. No need to second guess when is our availability and go bonkers over our own pricing based on other country's exchange rate.

Now the question mark is that how many GB ram the iphone 11 Pro/Pro Max will have as compare to iPhone 11. Hopefully iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max will get a lot more ram than iPhone 11 to justify the price difference.

I watched the entire Apple Event live not super duper excited that time, after getting more of the info my main 2 most excited parts of 11 pro/Max are:
1. Wide angle camera 2. tele camera f/2.0 vs my Max f/2.4 3. Nits and contrast ratio is 1200 and 2M:1 which is similar technology as Note 10 Can't wait to unbox the phone and compare to my Max. Apple managed to give what I need the upgrade from my Xs Max when I see the Note 10+ at store, as iOS user, I am glad. |

Nowdays its difficult to get news about voucher in lowyat. Theres multiple lazada LYN groups available at telegram. U may need to enter that group to get the news fast. Not confirmed yet but highest antutu score ever in a smartphone but with only 4gb ram. This solidifies my previous statement that ios and apple chips are far far more optimised than androids equivalent

Dear all, I am using an iPhone 7plus and have been loving it so far as it is a really good phone. But I’m confused as to whether I should upgrade to IPhone 11 pro max... what’s holding me back is the unappealing design and not much changes from the XS like the notch n all.. however the camera upgrade is what i have been waiting for... since I am an iphone photographer. Should I, or wait till iphone 12, hoping for a major change in the phone design?

Just took a look at all the sample photos that was taken with Night Mode.
The difference between iPhone’s Night Mode and it’s competitors’ night mode is that - other phone tries to make a dimly lit subject look like it’s taken in daylight with night mode. - iPhone’s night mode is trying to brighten up the subject not to overly to make it look as if it’s taken during daytime, it is trying to maintain and retain the details that it is taken in low light. Basically means very good lowlight picture instead of trying to make lowlight picture look like it’s dayliht This is where apple shines, always late, but boy do they perfect the shit out of the features. I’m using IPX now on iOS 13.1 B3 and performance is pretty solid. May wait it out until next year.
It’s true the pro models are more for taking better stills and videos but the 10 series are still very capable phones for taking pictures and videos. But one thing that really stood out is the improvement of battery life in the pro models. Extra four to five hours is a lot. But that is still to be proven though. |

The pictures you shown are common image artifacts, not just exhibit on phones but modern day pro camera as well. An excessive noise removing processing in dark area on images taken with high ISO setting would give you that painting, plastic look. Most visible on images taken in bad lighting condition. It been there for decade, even the best camera with top tier sensor cost xxx times more than the iPhone has the same faith. So no, i doubt the new iPhone will improve much, may be iPhone 20 or 30. who knows.
