more like protecting their ridiculous profit margins. past few years since they starting hiking prices like crap (then add in crazy conversion rates, and gst and depreciation of ringgit) really priced out Malaysians from ever being able to sustainably afford top tier apple flagships like before. Actually because of the first 2 reasons alot of emerging markets are priced out as well

I think this year's iphone pro lineup is just focused towards more photography than any other fancy features: the image processing and night mode might be a good sell for night photographers.
