Like every year before, i would recommend buying this thing only during promo.

Or else, just stick with ur current phone.

If y own the Iphone x and above, avoid from getting this early.

If y own ip 8 and below, u can get the phone early.

Its the same phone design since x. Its a hype.

iPhone 11
64GB - RM3,399.00 ( get it sale around 2.5k)
128GB - RM3,599.00 (get it sale around 3k)
256GB - RM4,099.00 (get it sale around 3.2k)

iPhone 11 Pro
64GB- RM4,899.00 (aim for 4-4.2k)
256GB -RM5,599.00 (aim for 4.8)
512GB -RM6,499.00 (aim for 5.8-6.2k

iPhone 11 Pro Max
64GB- RM5,299.00 (aim for 4.3k -4.8
256GB -RM5,999.00 (aim for 5.0-5.2k
512GB -RM6,899.00 (aim for 6k)

And usually when does this kind of promo come up normally? Or one has to lurk around forum like this and snatch when it presents?

machines always have it on-going.

old phones always get cheaper in price.

8, 8 plus the price is too close to XR already. XR is a better buy.

Yes, machines is one of the bigger authorised Apple resellers in Malaysia with many branches across the country, so they are legit. Bear in mind though, the XS and XS Max have officially been discontinued so this is merely a stock clearance discount. I expect the prices to go even lower on online platforms like Lazada come the 10.10 or 11.11 sale.

the original 18w usb-c charger + usb-c to lightning cable costs about usd29 + usd19 = usd48. so the usd50 deduction in price for iphone 11 is just nice to cover this cost. haha. tongue.gif

but seriously, ipad 12w charger is still the best bang for buck if one needs 'fast' charging. haha.

There really isn’t any benefit to preorder on their website, so I’ll most likely walk in on the weekend after 27th - if got stocks laugh.gif

you should. dun cheap out on the storage since you are already spending a lot on the phone.

dun forget 4k video recording.

On the iPhone XS Max, a minute of 4K video at 60 frames per second uses up 400MB of space.

so if you have an 64gb iphone 11 pro/pro max. minus iOS plus minimum storage usage. let's say you have 55GB left = 55000MB.
55000MB / 400MB per min = 137.5 minutes of 4k video recording.

this is assume that you do not utilize much on other thing like photo taking etc.

so in the end, it is not a matter whether you can backup your iphone data to external storage or cloud even u want. if iphone 11 pro/pro max capability will be limited to 137.5 minutes of 4k recording vs on a 256gb option, you can do 4 x more than this.

but if you buy the new iPhone 11/pro, the cable comes together is USB-C to lightning, you will only have one charger head out of the box to use with the cable laugh.gif
p/s: although u still can use old USB-A to lightning cable to charge new iPhone

Yeah, I'm likely gonna just use my 12W iPad charger to charge it as per all my previous iPhones. I suspect it might take up to 3 hours for a full charge from 0% though.

iPhone 11 yes, but iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max, no. If I remember correctly, the S10+ adapter is a USB A to USB C, where else the Pro Max adapter and supplied cable are both USB C to Lightning. So you’ll need a regular USB A to lightning cable to use the S10+ adapter with your iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max.
