also 4k on youtube is a joke. its terrible quality. ppl are fooling themself with smaller screen thinking its good.

btw one thing for sure you dont upload/stream.
yup you can play 1440p. its during streaming or initial part after stream is finish. after that youtube optimizes it to a different codec where the phone doesnt support it.

I concur. Why I use my IPhone for all my photo shots is because of the simplicity. Just point and shoot and it’s good. No fuss, no meddling with settings, no need for downloading of different cam versions. Just clean old point and shoot and feel like a professional photographer.

Yes indeed, I really feel this time round Apple done right with the 11 Pro series.

Been rounding a couple of phones this year, iPhone X (from previous year), then S10+, then Pixel 3XL and now 11 Pro Max, the camera on the 11 Pro Max is just an overall good device to have. The colors are more natural.

The only thing I miss from GCam was the ability to scan text / cards / search directly from the camera app itself. However, the overall prowess of the 11 Pro Max just supersede everything else.

Finally able to pasang the iMOS saphire on my 11 Pro..

All i can say that, it is a step ahead of the normal iMOS that i had before.. so justify the fulus that you need to top-up on top of the normal iMOS price..

i feel u bro..u want the best as with most of us..feeling hard done by this issue...but watching from iphone.. 1080p is reasonable and perfectly suited for iphone....there is hope tho for the future as AV1 may be used for both google and apple..but that's for later devices

u are rite bro..these logical reasons are justified...however, there is one particular reason that struck me as "apple like reason"..the VP9 is technically inferior in efficiency to HEVC..we all know apple is abt efficiency..so i comfortably take the decision from apple as thru time most decisions by apple make sense sooner or later. Like headphone jack..i was sad initially but since i move to wireless headphone/earphone, i never look back
