Dear all, I am using an iPhone 7plus and have been loving it so far as it is a really good phone. But I’m confused as to whether I should upgrade to IPhone 11 pro max... what’s holding me back is the unappealing design and not much changes from the XS like the notch n all.. however the camera upgrade is what i have been waiting for... since I am an iphone photographer. Should I, or wait till iphone 12, hoping for a major change in the phone design?

If you want it for the camera, my advice, go for it. No point waiting another year and salivating looking at what you could have done.

A year is 365 days, just think about the thousands photos that you could have framed better with the extra two new lenses that your iphone 7plus does not has.

Just took a look at all the sample photos that was taken with Night Mode.
The difference between iPhone’s Night Mode and it’s competitors’ night mode is that

- other phone tries to make a dimly lit subject look like it’s taken in daylight with night mode.
- iPhone’s night mode is trying to brighten up the subject not to overly to make it look as if it’s taken during daytime, it is trying to maintain and retain the details that it is taken in low light.

Basically means very good lowlight picture instead of trying to make lowlight picture look like it’s dayliht

This is where apple shines, always late, but boy do they perfect the shit out of the features.

I think the improvements on the 11 Pro vs the 7 Plus are quite stark and worth the upgrade as far as photography is concerned. A year is a long time to wait, and we can't even be sure if there will be a radical design makeover come next year. But if you're not unhappy with your current 7 Plus now then by all means do wait and see

The concept is very simple, if u dont mind waiting for another year, then wait because next year's iphone are gonna be huge in terms of upgrades.

If u gatal tangan like me hahahaa, then upgrade to the pro max as the specs are still a major bump compared to the 7 plus

i think anything before iphone X will be a worthy upgrade. particularly for camera.

but if one does not really bother, can use until the iphone retires. 7 plus should still be very capable phone even now.
